I am devine palette

Huge fan of KVD eyeshadows, I love the different colours and how bright they are. Super vivid with a wet brush but still good without. One of my favourite palettes right now.

Divine collection

It’s 30 years since the original larger than life drag queen Divine (born Harris Milstead) passed away in 1988.

To celebrate his legacy, tattoo and make-up artist Kat Von D enlisted the help of Divine’s estate to create a collection that was heavily inspired by the flamboyant, eccentric characters Milstead portrayed.

There’s an eyeshadow palette worthy of Edna Tirnblad from Hairspray and Ursula from the Little Mermaid (Ursula was based on Milstead’s Divine alter ego). The shades are named after Divine’s most praiseworthy moments, friends and roles he played:

Babs - Champagne shimmer

Hard Magic - Black Matte Shade

Baltimore - Blue Cobalt Metallic

Filthy - Metallic Charcoal Grey

Pink Flamingos - Metallic Neon Green, nothing

Female Trouble - Matte White

Hairspray - Metallic Silver

Waters - Matte Aqua Blue named after the director who nicknamed Milstead Divine

Kat Von D also created a lipstick in a loud neon green tube which is named after Divine himself, the colour inside is a peachy matte nude.

This absolutely electric collection will be launching on Kat Von D’s website this week and it will be available to buy in Sephora on February 23.
