I have used this product and I really did like it. It kept my acne at bay and did not inflame my sensitive skin. My only complaint is that it did dry my skin out quite a bit.

Love the feel of this product... Amazing results also. My pores were reduced dramatically and got rid of red noticeable spots!! Will definitely buy this again

This crazy comfortable acne treatment treats all kind of acne blemishes and imperfections, including stubborn blackheads. It DOES NOT dehydrate your skin, since the Benzoyl Peroxide content is micronized at 5.5%. Absolutely one (if not THE) best global acne medicated treatment currently on the market.

I personally have been using this product for three months, after trying various products by competing companies, and love the effacacy of this product. The fact that your acne doesn't seem to "dry up" and leave flaky dead skin parts on your face that you get to deal with later, is a LIFESAVER for a professional makeup artist.

CONS:
The only one I could think of is that this should be used as a treatment for moderate acne, so I would not reccomend this to my VERY severe acne client, which is a tough category to be placed into if you ask me.

I'm in Canada so I would find this product in Shoppers Drug Mart or Rexall. Make sure you ask your cosmeticians about this product first to ensure your skin aligns with the treatment.

I would recommend Effaclar Duo to anyone with active breakouts or acne prone skin. The light lotion with 0.5% salicylic acid is effective but gentle enough for sensitive skin. If you have dry or dry combination skin you might want to add a moisturizer, but for my oily skin this stuff is perfect.

It is a good produc, I only use it as a spot treatment on my chin and it work well. It does not dry my skin at all and does not smell anything. I will try the duo plus in the future, it probably work even better.

I purchased this product because it had good reviews. It is an acne treatment that is supposed to unclog pores and minimize appearance of breakouts. It is an effective product for breakouts but I find it does nothing spectacular for clogged pores like whiteheads and blackheads. IT says you may apply 1 to 3 times a day or as directed by a doctor. I sometimes apply it three times if necessary. Overall, I love it, but for the price, I am still on the search for another product like this. It has 0.5 percent salicylic acid, which is a quarter of the usual percentage. I love how this is gentle though. I'm not sure how the percentage affects the effectiveness like if a 2% would leave scarring or dryness versus this 0.5%.
