I was very interested in trying the cleansing facial oil I received in the trial from Lipidor. I'm getting closer to 40 and my skin has gone from oily-normal with acne to dry-normal with few breakouts. I found the scent of the product strong and perfume-y, I didn't enjoy it. I didn't know how to use facial cleansing oil and found the lack of clear instructions annoying. I googled how to use the product instead. I didn't know what to do about my eye makeup. I didn't use the oil near them and having to use another product for my eyes was also annoying. I didn't find it cleansed my makeup very well. I could use it and then wipe my face with a tired and see makeup residue. I used more, I used less. I tried everything.

I wanted to like it, but I didn't. :(

This oil is one of the strangest smelling face product I've ever tried. It starts out smelling like Bio Oil which is a bit perfumy then as you have it on your face it smells horrible, the smell is musty then as you rinse, it turns minty?

I used it to remove my makeup in the shower and it was tricky to apply it with dry hands since as soon as it gets any water it turns foamy.

It didn't do the best job at removing my makeup, after showering I had to use another remover since I had raccoon eyes from the leftover makeup.

I don't think i would buy it.

I tried this product for free with chickadvisor. After trying this product for a little bit I have found this product to be just ok. It didn't seem to change how my face felt.

I was hesitant using this product because it's oil based. I've used Bio Oil before but only for scars and never on my face. I wasn't impressed with the cleansing of this oil. It didn't lather very much and my skin felt like it has residue on it most of the day. I used it for several days and my skin started breaking out with small bumps everywhere so I stopped. I wouldn't use this product again.

Im not so pleased with the Lipidol Cleansing Face Oil.Ive been using it for weeks now and it just doesnt cut it for me 100% the only thing i liked is that my face isnt very dry after cleansing but that oily feeling i dont feel like my face is cleaned properly after i think it wouldve felt better if it was a water base solution rather than the oiliness because have combination skin there is no balance adding oil ontop of a half oily skin leads to break outs.

I received this product from the Product Review Club. I was excited when I found out I was going to receive this product. I have combination skin, sometimes its very dry (especially in the winter) while other times its oily, especially my T-zone. I've tried using this product for a whole week and I have to say I don't love it. Maybe I'm not using it properly, but even after watching videos on how to use it I just can't get into it. It takes my make up off, but so do other oils. I just don't feel like my skin is super clean after using this.

After following the instructions, it seemed to remove some of my makeup but just to test it I used one of my makeup cleansing cloths right after and there was still foundation on the cloth, even after massaging the cleaning oil for the allotted time.

It did seem to remove my mascara but I don't think it was meant for that because it created a very oily film in my eyes that my normal makeup remover oil does not leave.

I also have blemish free skin, and the morning after each day I used the product I noticed a small blemish. Could be coincidence but once I stopped using the oil I didn't have that issue any other day.

I really wanted to like this product because I loved the Overnight Oil. However, as soon as I opened the lid and put this product on my face, the overpowering scent was too much for me. Way too strong. The oil itself did not take all my makeup off, and I had to use a different makeup remover to do it.
My face did not feel greasy after using it and the oil was nice for making my skin soft. I did not need as much moisturizer as usual after cleansing.
I tried this product for one week, and used a cleansing cloth after the oil, to see if my face was clean. The cloth revealed a lot of dirt/makeup left after using this cleansing oil.
The price is right (8.97 @ Walmart.). It would be good to add to your regimen, if you do more than one step.

I use cleansing oils daily and was excited t try this one out as a cheaper alternative to my regular. I found that it didn't clean as well as my regular oil (Shu Uemara) and after a few days of use it broke me out really badly. The scent is ok. The price is awesome. I might try a few of their other oils to see if they work better for me.

it is a nice cleanser for the face , i love it !!!
