waterproof!

I use this speaker all year long! It is the perfect for summer travels to campsites or hiking. It has a waterproof seal so you don't have to be nervous when using it outside or near the pool. the color choices are awesome and the sound quality is great!

I absolutely love the colour choices for this little speaker. I chose cyan – a turquoise hue that pops with the black base. It feels like a soft silicone material, hence the waterproofing of the exterior, allowing for use both indoors and outdoors.

It comes with a short USB charging cord – to which the port is cleverly hidden at the back of the unit to prevent water from entering it (the hole is rather deep within the unit). When you charge it (from a wall charger or computer), the light is red while charging, and turns blue once it has fully charged and is ready to entertain for eight to ten hours.

It fits into my hand, and even has a clip to clip to your bag, purse, pocket, or wherever.

The power button is on the side, next to the volume buttons – just hold it down for a few seconds, and there is a beeping sound for a second, indicating that it is turned on. It does turn off on its own if it is not paired with a device after a few minutes.

It easily paired to my iPod, iPhone, and even Husband’s Samsung Galaxy! Once connected to your Bluetooth, the speaker beeps once too indicate success.

The bass from the speak is pretty amazing and strong, and the sound is so clear, whether you are playing a game, listening to the radio, playing music, or making a telephone call!

For us, this speaker is perfect for canoeing and fishing – we can have music playing while relaxing away, or even bringing it to the cottage to listen to tunes while sitting at the campfire.

We did have it on during a rainstorm outside (who doesn’t like a good storm??), and the music played perfectly well with my ipod inside the cottage. I even brought it into the shower for testing. So I was able to sing in the shower, much to the disdain of Husband. It still charges and still works perfectly!

Just make sure you keep your phone or ipod near the speaker for best results – once it exceeds 10 metres, they lose their pairing power.

Overall, for the price point, light weight, and usefulness of this speaker, we give it four thumbs up!
