L'Oréal Paris Telescopic Explosion Mascara Reviews
#802 in Mascara

Description

When applying your mascara, are some lashes inaccessible? L'Oreal Paris came up with the perfect solution, Telescopic Explosion! Its new Flexi-Globe brush can be used from any angle. Horizontally, it captures even short and fine lashes and vertically, it coats each and every lash from root to tip. Your lashes are fanned out, beautifully lengthened. A very spectacular effect!

I bought this at walmart for $10 which is pretty steep compared to my regular mascara, Lash Blast. This definitely made my lashes thicker but so much that it bordered on trashy. The formula is creamier than other mascaras I've tried and it takes a long time to dry so it smudged a lot. The wand is thin and long which makes it harder to control the wand when applying. This mascara clumps like mad so be sure to run a lashcomb through your lashes. Will not be repurchasing.

I received this product from l'Oreal. The timing was perfect, as my last mascara was starting to run dry. Generally, I like what it does. When I curl my eyelashes, I especially like how it defines my upper lashes, adding even more curl to them. However, I don't like using it on my lower lashes as I find it makes them look spidery. I also don't find it thickens my lashes enough.

i had seen the shape of this brush before in other brands. i thought it wouldn't be bad to try. i was a little hesitant when i saw the price. it was more expensive then my original mascara but i though, ill never know unless i try. i bought it! when i took the brush out, i noticed it was a little clumpy:( i wiped the brush access on the side and used it. I LOVED IT! less is definitely more! my lashes were not clumped and definitely longer. they stood out straight away! a day after i bought it, my friend texted me telling me she had bought this mascara that i should definitely try. turns out, it was the same mascara i had just bought! i definitely recommend it!

I didn't love this mascara but I didn't hate it either. Here is what I loved:

    - My lashes were not lacking in the dramatic volume department.
    - The little round brush really gets to those little lashes, allows you to get right at the base, and you can emphasize any part of the lash.
    - Love the red, sleek packaging.

    Here's what I didn't love:

    - The formula is very thick and can get pretty clumpy if you don't swipe off the excess.
    - I found it smudged a bit after a few hours.

Overall, I really like dramatic lashes because naturally my lashes are pretty wimpy. What I've been doing lately is applying CoverGirl LashBlast mascara then using L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion over top just on the outer lash. The effect is flirty full lashes! I love that the round brush allows you to be selective with what you want to enhance. The concept of a round brush might be foreign in the beginning and may feel awkward but you get used to it after a while.

I was in LA when i first saw it. I was very interested in the brush as it was different then anything i had ever seen. Being a make up artist. cosmetic addict i had to have it.
I normally use Lancome Definicils, but i like Loreal Lash out or even Voluminous so i thought i would give it a try. .

I like mascaras that give length and will sculpt lashes. This is not what this one does very well.

This mascara is good for lower lashes and as a finishing mascara. Use your normal brand then use it on the tips to add more drama.

On its own it gave more thickness and it went on globby making my lashes look like chunks.

I will not buy again however i will save the brush,(after i thoroughly disinfect and clean it ) and use for lower lashes

This mascara is the bomb! I couldn't find it in Canada at first, so I bought it on one of my many forays into the USA. I LOVE the brush. My main complaint with other products is that the brush is too long and/or too thin. This little ball brush is so easy to handle and it never goes on in globby even if you use several coats. My eyelashes thank me!

I'm the biggest mascara skeptic you'll ever meet, so naturally I was less than impressed with the idea of this new product. I mean, who are they kidding with those commercials? ANYONE can tell those are false eyelashes, please. Of course, there's the other side of me who always wants to try something new. So, I forked out the $9.99.

I thought I was going to stab myself in the eye multiple times while using the wacky brush, but it was surprisingly easy to maneuver. Bonus. I put on a couple coats, as I always do with any mascara, and holy bananas! My eyelashes were amazing! Long, thick, separated....This leopard almost changed her spots. Key word there being 'almost'.

The second time I used it, the results were totally different. It clumped up like mad, and I couldn't even comb it out because it was akin to concrete on my lashes.

*Sigh* Another one bites the dust. I mean, if you want ONE night of fabulous lashes, by all means, buy this product (it's cheaper than lash extensions) but don't expect anything more from it.

    Ladies, it's a one-night stand.

This crap clumps like crazy!! you have to wipe off so much excess to even get a decent look. I think they shold not have tried to copy a high end Givenchy mascara in the first place. This is terrible! don't wast the $.

L'Oreal lovers will not be disappointed. This is a very fun mascara to use! I was so excited to get an early sample of this, I had to try it right away! What makes this mascara really different from the rest is the brush. It's round and small! It is designed to get right into those corner lashes that are harder to reach with a conventional brush.

I think makeup artists especially will like this because it allows you to get a very defined yet full look. The formula is ideal for those looking for dramatic length and volume. Because of the style of brush you can emphasize whichever part of your lashes you prefer vs. coating it all over the same. I like to focus on the corner lashes then work my way to the inner eye. On my medium/full lashes the results are quite dramatic.

I'm really curious to see what others think of this one!

After using this mascara for a couple of weeks, it started to clump up like mad. I'm not sure if it was just my formula or a function of the brush being so small. If you wipe off the excess on the side of the tube quite a bit, this will still work great but if not, you will get huge globby clumps.
