Easy to use and would buy it again.

I loved this mascara. It made my lashes pop out and feel smooth. It was good quality, and the value is good. It's affordable and make my makeup look looks natural.

Hands down HOLY GRAIL of mascaras!

This mascara is THE holy grail of mascaras. I’ve tried so many mascaras over the last 15 years (drugstore and high end) and I’ve always gravitated back to this mascara. It doesn’t clump, stays on all day and doesn’t flake. It’s hands down the best and you can’t beat the quality at this price point!

Not the best mascara for asian lashes

This mascara has a really large brush that does not work great with my small asian lashes. It does not hold a curl and is also prone to smudging after a few hours of use.

My go to for an affordable mascara, I like the formula, the length it get from it, just have to be careful and let it dry, if not your lashes will stick together and it's wet for a bit , I always end up getting those little marks after applying and blinking lol overall I like it, just wish it'd dry a little faster

Only Mascara I’ll use

I’m a beauty professional (hair and lashes) and this product is my all time favourite mascara. It’s buildable and looks amazing if you comb out in-between layers

Flawless

This has been my go to for years. The brush is easy to use and grabs the lashes in all the right places. It goes on evenly and not clumpy like many others.

Volume all day long

If you're looking to add some serious volume to eyelashes then this L'Oreal can produce stunning results, especially when you complement it with an eyeliner. It works very well to curl your eyelashes to great effect. The only thing to keep in mind is that it does tend to clump a bit more to give a thick spider lashes look

LIKES:
- Really brings out & highlights your eyelashes
Stays all day long , even through sweat
- Comes of easily as well with warm water and baby wipes. No special oil based remover necessary
- Does not cause any eye irritation
- It does not crumble or flake like other mascaras

DISLIKES:
- They weren't kidding when they ment volume, the included applicator is large and does not taper off towards the end making it difficult to reach the roots of your lashes, especially the lower ones without the risk of over applying/clumping too much
- The best way to use the applicator is to firmly brush/press it against one end when pulling it out of the tube and use that side to apply. This works well in preventing excess mascara on the applicator
- For this reason I take away one star, as the thick applicator may not work well for very thin eyelashes

Great mascara!!

It's one of the best mascaras I've ever used. Very good fluffy brush what I love, it gives length and volume to my lashes. Thanks to l`oreal Paris voluminous carbon black mascara.

Great performing mascara!

Nicely lengthens my lashes. Not clumpy at all. The mascara wand works very well and I've been using this mascara for years. Price couldn't be better! My favorite is the Carbon Black. I'd reccomend this to someone looking for a low priced, good quality mascara!

Ten years later, it is still that good!

This mascara retails for $6 at almost every supermarket in Canada. Despite its cheap price (compared with other mascaras), this one is the golden standard of voluminous mascaras. It lengthens, volumizes and builds lashes, making them thick and black. It's a little gem of the mass market, so I recommend it to everyone on a budget.
