Best full coverage drugstore foundation
L'oreal nailed the formula again with this foundation. It provides full coverage without feeling heavy and is available in a wide shade range. Would definitely repurchase this and it will remain in my rotation of foundations to use!
Not as matte as I would hope for
For the price, this product is pretty good over all. It didn't stay as matte or offer as full of coverage as I'd hope for through out the day. For everyday use, it seems okay but I wouldn't use it for a really long day or going out.
Best Drugstore Foundation for Combo Skin
This foundation is my holy grail Drugstore foundation. The coverage is incredible and most days I'm able to go without setting it with powder. I have combo/oily skin and I mix the 101 and 102 colors together to get the perfect match. This foundation has a true matte finish but does not look cakey when applied with my Beauty Blender or Morphe M439 brush.
goof product, but not my favourite
I started using this because a friend had left it behind and I ran out of my own. I really loved the way it went on, and had pretty good staying power for the price. I noticed eventually (after a few months) that my skin didn't love it. I wasn't sure if it was this product or something else causing some breakouts, but after switching back to my original, my skin cleared. Im sure it would work for most and agree with your skin, just wasnt for me !
Great product - not for people with dry skin
This product is wonderful for me in the summer but not in the winter. My skin is much more dry in the winter and the mattefying effect of this product is too much for my skin to handle during the cold weather. It sticks to my dry spots and appears patchy on my skin. However, in the summer this is my go-to drugstore foundation. It is cheap, effective and easy to apply. Build-up is not needed as it has decent coverage and it stays on all day without needing to reapply.
Would Repurchase
This is another foundation I enjoy. I prefer the Pro Glow over this matte version but both are really nice. Easy to work with & blend, and doesn't go too terribly dark on me through the day!
favourite drugstore foundation
great foundation! great for paler girls who need a really light coloured foundation that stays on all day. Very matte finish with medium coverage. Excellent packaging with convenient design.
Favorite
This foundation has been my favourite so far out of all the ones ive tried. It does not look cakey at all, and once i set it with a powder, its pretty long lasting. The colour matches my skin really well. I have oily skin and this matte foundation is perfect.
Good Foundation!
This is a wonderful medium Matte Foundation that L'oreal has put out. I blended my foundation smoothly with my fingers an you can really see the beautiful shift in complexion. I would recommend it.
HG for ridiculously oily skin.
I have PCOS and am cursed with the oiliest skin of anyone I know. It is so oily in fact that I could take a piece of paper towel, press it to my face, and make out my facial features and nostrils on it for the amount of oil that is absorbed (within a very short while of washing my face or applying makeup). I cannot begin to describe how thankful I am to have found this product. It has been my HG for the last year and my pick over any high end or drug store product trailed to date. It applies beautifully with my dampened beauty blender and oxidizes very minimally on me. I also experience less skin eruptions with this product. I am still required to do a bit of blotting during the day but I mainly just do this by patting my face with my fingers. Instead of absorbing the oil that peeks through it sort of blends in with my makeup and seems to prevent a lot of sebum over secretion. This wouldn't be an option with other products. Anything else slides off and separates after an hour or so. I've even reapplied this foundation on top of my makeup when really pressed for time (Ie: In a rush to a dinner outing) and I've managed to do this in such a way that it doesn't look super heavy or cakey. For reference I am an NW20 in MAC and reviewing my experience with shade 102 Shell beige. Just to add, I am not a huge fan of the infallible pro matte powder whether used alone or in combo with this foundation. I feel it looks better on it's own. Use of the powder version seems to trigger oil production and I end up breaking out within a day or so of use.
