I received the Loreal Professionnel Intense Repair Masque along with the Intense Repair Shampoo to try, and I love it! Thank you ChickAdvisor for letting me try this great product!

I found the masque quite easy to use, as long as I remembered to loosen the lid on the jar before I got into the shower! I didn't towel dry my hair, but instead used the masque as I would a normal conditioner and used it right after shampooing and left it on for a few minutes. It is thicker than normal conditioners so it stays on your hair, and you don't have to use a lot. , The scent is very light but doesn't last once your hair is dry. It rinses out easily and leaves my hair softer, smoother, and a lot more hydrated than any other product that I have tried! My hair looks healthy, and I just love how it feels now!

Downside: Price. As much as I love this masque, I really can't justify paying almost $30 for it. I know it works, and I wish I could continue using it, but it is exceptionally expensive. I would absolutely recommend it to my friends, but unfortunately its just not in my budget at the moment to pay $30 for this product.

Received this product as a product review so can't comment on the price but this is a really amazing product! It's not overly scented and overall easy to work with. Instructions say to towel dry hair and then apply, but I just use it immediately after shampooing while still in the shower (so don't towel dry the hair before using). Still works fine.

I immediately noticed a difference to my hair. It was a lot smoother. In the past, I would need to use another (smoothing) product on top of shampoo and conditioner prior to blow drying to get rid of the frizz, but with this repair masque, I didn't need anything else and the hair came out really smooth after blow drying. Hair looks really healthy and shiny. I would definitely recommend this to others and would recommend this over any other hair masques out there.

I received this to try as part of the Review Club. First off my hair is long (past mid back) and thick. It's also fairly wavy and tends to be drier and quite unruly in the winter months. I used this product twice a week for 3 straight weeks along with the Intense Repair Shampoo.

The first thing I noticed was the scent......which much like the shampoo reminded me of bananas.....okay, but not great. The texture was actually quite thick and easy to distribute throughout my hair. I did however, find it quite a inconvenience that you needed to towel dry your hair before applying the masque.

After my first shampoo, masque and dry I noticed an immediate difference in my hair. It was much easier to work with and super soft......also, even before the drying I was able to notice that my hair was SO much easier to get a comb through......as usually I spend a large amount of time on knots. Having used this product for three weeks, it looks healthier, feels like silk and my frizz is even more manageable!!! Also, I've had a huge reduction in static....which plagues my hair in the winter.

Overall this is a fantastic product that I would easily recommend to anyone. The only real downside for me is the price.....which at $30 is quite high.....especially in this economy. Honestly, even if I had the spare cash it would be hard for me to justify spending $30 on one hair care product. To those of you not in a money crunch.....go for it!! This is a great product and you won't be disappointed!

I got to try this along with the Repair Shampoo. Let me start off by saying I absolutely hate the packaging. I believe the conditioner itself could have been used in a more user friendly squeeze tube like the shampoo rather than in the jar format. The masque itself was okay but nothing out of the ordinary. It did not do any better than my $5 hair masque does. I also found it quite annoying that you needed to towel dry your hair before applying this product. I did that the first couple times and then later gave up. What I ended up doing was just squeezing as much water out of my hair before applying the masque. I don't think there was a difference in the moisture level of my hair because of this. just like the shampoo, I believe this hair masque is of average quality with an above average price. Because of this, I will not be recommending this or purchasing this product.

I really liked this product. I've been using it for about two weeks now and there is definitely a noticable difference in my hair. I find that the product is somewhat effective on its own, but is much better when used with the shampoo. It adds a bit of time to my prep time since you have to towel dry your hair before using it and then rinsing, but the result is worth it. As long as it remains effective, I will likely buy this product again and would definitely recommend it.

I wish there was an in between answer for would you recommend this product.. My answer isnt really you betcha.. but its isnt forget about it either...:)

I have been trying the masque for a couple of weeks and have liked it.. not loved it.
I found it really annoying to have to apply it to towel dried hair like the instructions tell you to do. i did that the first few times and gave it up and started just applying it in the shower after shampooing. I used this product along with the intense repair shampoo as well. As i said with the shampoo i found this product made my already thick full hair feel heavier and somewhat greasy. I did find that it was a great conditioner and smelled great however that smell did not last beyond drying my hair.
Another draw back to this product was the design of the bottle. The product is not a really think consistancy and therefore could have been put into a squeeze bottle making it more managemable in the shower. It was a little awkward to use.

As a regular use product i dont think i would recommend it as it is very expensive for something i was not completly satisfied with. I do think however that i would like this product as a couple times a year use when i find my hair getting dry. the deep intense moisturizer did work well so for that reason i would probably use this again. It is rather expensive however

i tried this along with the shampoo i was sent by chickadvisor. the masque had a pleasant scent that was not too strong but not quite as nice as the shampoo. the directions stated to apply to dry hair so i put it on before my morning shower and then rinsed off. it rinsed off quite easily and was easy to apply. it left my hair feeling clean and moisturized but not over dry. i followed it up in the shower with the l'oreal shampoo i was sent to get that extra clean feeling. i would use this product again but i don't think i would be willing to pay alot of money for it.

I have never used a hair masque before and was eager to give this a try. My hair tends to be dry but it is also fine and easily weighed down, so I was curious to see how this product would perform. Unfortunately, it just didn't cut it for me.

I really didn't like the process. It was really annoying to use on towel-dried hair. I found that I used way too much product the first time because my hair had been semi-dried an it took forever to rinse out. My hair was really greasy afterward. The next time I used it, I didn't bother to dry my hair and just applied the masque in the shower to wet hair. The product rinsed out easier and left my hair less greasy but still too soft and feeling weighed down. My hair is also curly, and I found that the masque left my hair less likely to curl. It fell in looser waves than curls, which I attribute to the weighed down feeling.

At $30, I would not purchase this product again. For my fine, dry, curly hair, it just did not leave me wowed or even satisfied. I am not sure how often it's intended to be used, but once or twice a week is too much for me. I like the idea of using the masque once or twice a month as a deep conditioning product, especially during the winter, but would not recommend it for regular use based on my experience.

I have been using this product for a couple of weeks. The product has a nice creamy texture. It is thick but was easy to work into my hair. It does have a light, fresh scent. I noticed a significant improvement to the moisture level of my hair after one use. I really liked that it did not weigh down my hair fine hair as many similar products on the market do. I would recommend this product to my friends and family.

My hair is extremely dry - I have wavy hair, but like to blow dry straight - which equals damage and very dry hair. I really like this hair masque. The price makes this masque a bit on the high side, but it is effective. The hair masque has a good thick consistency but still fluid enough to work easily into your hair. The only thing that I didn't like is that it's not a bottle that you squeeze and away you go- it's in a container that you have to dip your hands in it to get the masque out. Love the scent - has a fruity smell to it. I was impressed with the hair masque after my first treatment as it left my hair noticeably smoother and silkier to the touch. Hair had an overall healthy appearance and feel to it. The effect lasted in between treatment periods and my hair feels much more moisturized - could really tell as I styled my hair - made it easier and drastically minimized the amount of frizz in the hair. This is pretty comparable to the product that I was using - which was the Vo5 oil. I will be recommending this hair masque to my friends and family.
