I did not like it

I used it for sometime but I didn't like it. I had to use so much of it to actually feel like my hair is clean. My wrist started to hurt every time I squeezed that bottle to get the shampoo out. It would be best if they replace the bottle top with the one they used for the body wash. However, I loved the smell of Shea butter and sandalwood. Also, I enjoyed the conditioner and the body wash a lot.

Not great

I received this product for free through Chick Advisor's Product Review Club. I was excited to try a new brand of vegan hair products however this shampoo left much to be desired. I had to use double the amount of product for my hair than with my regular shampoo. While it washed well, the Love Beauty Planet shampoo left my hair feeling very dry. I normally don't condition everyday, but that wasn't an option with with shampoo. I wouldn't recommend.

Hydrates my hair but not my scalp

I was one of the lucky people to have received this product for free from Chick Advisor. I like how this company used natural ingredients to make their products. Although this shampoo hydrates my hair, it also makes my hair greasy faster. Normally, I wash my hair every 3 days but after trying out this product line, I have to wash my hair everyday or every 2 days since my hair feel greasy faster. My dandruffs are still there so I guess it only hydrates my hair and not my scalp. A cause of dandruff could be over-washing your hair, so I don't know if it is because of this shampoo (that makes my hair greasy faster, so I had to wash my hair more often).

J'avais de grandes attentes envers ce produit qui se voulait être végan et en respect de la nature. Malheureusement, il a échoué à satisfaire à mes attentes. Ce shampoing assèche le cuir chevelu. Mes cheveux, qui ne sont pas gras, le sont devenus rapidement après l'utilisation. Au final, dans l'ensemble, la nouvelle game de produit Love Beauty and Planet échoue à répondre à mes standards de qualité.

Hydrates and cleans, but felt like there was junk in my hair

I received this product complimentary from Chick Advisor for a 100% honest review.

When reviewing shampoo and conditioners, it is often hard to separate them since you use them together. I have only used this shampoo with the matching conditioner, so I can't be quite sure which is responsible for which outcome.

Regardless, this shampoo did feel like it worked well. It absolutely cleaned, and my hair did not feel dry or brittle after use. It did leave my hair feeling more tangled than usual though after using it, and before applying conditioner. I have the distinct feeling that this shampoo left some sort of residue or extra product in my hair that couldn't be washed out. It was a feeling similar to what I have felt when using clay shampoos that are supposed to "soak up oils". Anyways, it only felt like there was a residue in my hair when it was wet. When it was dry, it felt normal and was definitely hydrated. I also noticed that I had less frizz, which is always a good thing!

Overall, this shampoo was pretty good. I just wish that it didn't leave me feeling like my roots had some sort of residue in them.

Not that hydrating

I tried it once in conjunction with the matching conditioner and I did not like it. It made my hair coarse and dry. Usually I use Pantene shampoo and Lush conditioner which have worked fine in keeping my thick, straight hair soft and sleek. However, just one use of this new brand and I noticed it had made my hair less smooth. It's not horrible but I am definitely going to stick to my usual hair care regimen. I will say that the scent is nice though and lingers in my hair the day after.

Smells so nice

This is a nice, natural smelling shampoo. It has a warm, woodsy scent that makes you smell clean but natural. It does a great job at cleaning your hair and removing any build-up/residue. It lathers up nicely and spreads quickly. It doesn't overly dry out your hair, it is indeed hydrating. So as a shampoo, it does it's job.

However, it does not detangle very well. Usually when a shampoo is "hydrating" or "moisturizing" they tend to have a lot of slip. I have very curly dry hair, and I need slip so I can detangle my knots without ripping out hair. You can eventually work it through the hair and detangle any knots, but I have other shampoos that are faster and better at it than this one. The smell almost makes up for this flaw but ultimately, I think I'll stick with my other moisturizing shampoos. If you don't have particularly knotted hair, you'll be satisfied with this shampoo and I would still recommend it. I #gotitfree for review purposes.
