I have used Dark Angels for maybe a year and although I love the toughness and how it really clears my pores it's to harsh for my skin and often I get a breakout from using it. I do really like the smell and it works really well but it just ended up working TOO well for me and stripping my face of all of the good oils.

I purchased as a flook. I wasn't sure about the product, I hadn't read any reviews and such, but went in to Lush one day with the urge to buy a new cleanser. I had heard recently that they had a shortage of the main ingredients in Dark Angels and was intrigued when I saw that they had a full stock. I purchased it and was completely in shock when I saw the inside of it. I was so used to a creamy kind of cleanser. The smell isn't the greatest (charcoal), but the effectiveness and quality of it makes up for it.

Love love love this cleanser! It is awesome! A thumbs up for acne prone skin and oily skin but can be used on any skin! Feels super clean after every application

oh lush, the best prodcuts a girl could ask for. especially vegan or plant based people ( me! ) dark angels is a black and grainy scrub to exfoiltate your face and help acne. did not do anything for acne but made my skin super soft and helps to eliminate black heads and pores. would reccemend, but not for acne.

This scrub is great for oily skin and gentle enough to use every day. It left my skin feeling really soft and never dried it out. I'm almost done my jar and I will definitely be buying another one right away.

Dark Angels way back in the day when they first opened up in Calgary. I remembered loving it, so when I was walking through the mall on one of my shopping sprees I decided to stop into LUSH and buy it again.

My skin isn't sensitive, its not oily, its just average, sometimes a little dry if anything. Hence why I don't wash my face all that often.This probably isn't the most recommend for my skin, but whatev.

So when bedtime started creeping up, I was excited to try it out. Right off the bat, I forgot how bad it smelt and how much it looked like I dipped my face in ash. BUT, wow! did my face every feel smooooooth and sooooooooooooo clean. Like 3 days of dirt and grime just washed away.

I have very oily skin, especially in the summer. I got a sample to try. I've been wanting to try a charcoal soap because I heard it was really good for my skin type. I was pleasantly surprised. It has small particles (charcoal pieces??) that scrub gently as well as clean. My skin felt soooo soft afterwards. I also found that my skin wasn't as oily as it use to be :)The only downside I found was the charcoal would crumble a bi and get on the counter or sink. I got the charcoal bar cleanser sample as well. So I want to try that out first before I commit to a full size of either product.

The one thing I really notice about this product is how clean my skin feels after I use it. It really helps to clear out the dirt and reduce oil. My favourite thing about this product is the fact that it is a scrub. The exfoiliating action is great on my skin and helps to clear away all the gross stuff. It is a bit pricey for what it is, even if the claims do hold up. Also, I'm not crazy about how you use it, it is a bit messy and kind of gets everywhere.

All in all, I like the product, I like that is does work and gives a really great clean so I would recommend and may purchase again. I received this product from Lush to review.

Lush Dark Angels Cleanser is a cleanser that gives you a deep down clean and a bit of a scrub all at once.

Dark Angels is unlike any other cleanser I have tried before, as it a solid chunk that you break a small piece off of and make into a paste. You then apply it and cleanse like normal. The reviews on the Lush website say that it is messy to use, but I don't find it to be an issue. I keep mine in a Lush can to keep it well sealed, but I have to be careful as the ca seals too well and can be crazy hard to get open.

Dark Angels is mainly meant for young, oily skin ( I fall into neither of those categories) but I like to use it a few times a week for a deep cleansing and as a plus the black sugar in it exfoliates too.The product contains charcoal (that is what makes it black) and has a slight black licorice scent.

You get a pretty big chunk for the price and it will last a while, even if you use it as your daily cleanser. All in all I am very happy with this cleanser and recommend!
