This soap is my lifee.
The smell is toffee, honey, caramel, ..that kind of thing. I am not good at describing smells so look at :

and other reviews.
It lathers very well. It makes a lot of bubbles but they aren't that thin kind that doesn't get you clean. The smell I can smell after my shower for an hour or so if I put my nose to my skin, but then it kinda goes away. It won't interfere with perfume because it isn't that strong.
There is a reason it is Lush's #1 selling soap!
I am obsessed with LUSH. It's one of my favorite stores, and this is one of my favorite products. It smells so yummy. The honey scent is so irresistible. It produces a really nice lather, and the scent lingers on your skin after you are done bathing. The soap itself is so cute. The honeycomb on top is really cute, and I have used it to expoliate with good results. Sure it may be a little pricey, but it's such a wonderful treat for me, that I don't mind.
Lush is super expensive but ALWAYS worth it! For soap it is one of the most moisturizing brands I have come across. Honey I Washed the Kids in particular is a super sweet and soft candied honey scent. The top of it has a cute as can be comb on it as well! After you use it the scent lingers for awhile and makes for a great, sexy atmosphere with the boyfriend! ;D Use it with the Mange Too massage bar for best results and staying power.
"Honey I Washed the Kids" is a handmade soap from Lush infused with honey, bergamot and sweet orange, topped with a layer of beeswax on top. When I purchased this soap, I wanted something that would moisturize and sooth my sensitive skin, and since this has honey, citrus and aloe in it, I thought it was going to do the trick. Apart from the great ingredients, the scent totally won me over. It is light and sweet, almost good enough to eat!
The soap is very dense, unlike your regular bar of drugstore soap, which is really just a detergent that strips your skin of essential moisture. I like the amount of lather this produces and it feels so smooth against the skin and has the right amount of slip. Since it is a dense soap, it has lasted me longer than the average drugstore brand. The benefits I've noticed after using Honey I Washed the Kids is that my skin feels very soft and moisturized afterwards.
As for the top layer of beeswax, I feel this is only for decorative purposes. It did not work as an exfoliator, which I thought it would be and it began to crumble off when the soap started to wear thin around the edge. Apart from that, I think this would be a great soap for every member of the family. The scent isn't overpowering (unfortunately it doesn't linger on the skin) and it is mild enough for sensitive skin types.
I got this at Lush last week. I was aghast at how expensive they were for a soap. But i thught, maybe theyre worth the price. So I got a $10 serving of the soap and immediately tried them when I got home.
I first cut them into 4 pieces because I did not want to waste any of the soaps! I also bought a soap dish especially for the soap as well.
The smell was so good you think you want to take a bite out of it. It lathered really well and of course, I used up a chunk quickly too.
It made the whole bathroom smell like honey and citrus scents but I was disappointed that it did not linger on my skin after that delicious shower..
I am in loooooove with this soap. The honey smell is so delicious, I just feel like eating it! This soap makes me feel nice and squeaky clean afterwards, I only wish that the smell would stick to my skin after the shower! Too bad it doesn't. Oh well, it makes the shower experience so much more enjoyable, mmmm.
I really loved this honey soap which i bought at my local lush shop. It smells delicious and is ultra moisturizing in the shower.. I almost used up the whole thing by now so I have to go and buy more. hehe..
Ingredients: Honey Water (Mel Aqua), Propylene Glycol, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Perfume, Beeswax (Cera alba), Sweet Orange Oil (Citrus dulcis), Bergamot Oil (Citrus bergamia), Aloe Vera Extract (Aloe barbadensis), Aloe cupensis), Sodium Chloride, Glycerin, EDTA, Tetrasodium Editronate, Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides), Titanium Dioxide
I love the smell. It's a light sweet honey smell but the smell does not stay on your skin. I don't get the purpose of the honeycomb thing on the top. It's very rough on my skin. Keep this soap dry otherwise it won't last but a few washes. I can't say it's the most moisturizing soap I've used but it does help heal the skin.
I recently bought a pound of this at Lush's after christmas sale, after promptly unwrapping it and cutting it into little slices i handed some out to my friends/mom/boyfriend who all had several different opinions on this soap.
My boyfriend loves the scent it leaves on my skin, which is a delicate honey/toffee mix. My mother adores the soap because she thinks it smells delicious, and my friend dislikes using it because it smells sickeningly sweet to her. My cat dislikes being washed with this soap, and the dog adores it.
my personal opinion?
This product smells and looks edible (dont try it, its very sour) gives you a very moisturizing, almost milky lather, and leaves you with a delicious light scent. It's a perfect indulgence when you have a sweet tooth, because its guilt free and leaves you satisfied. :)
A bar of this lasts forever, though daily use will result in becoming immune/burned out on the scent.
Karma is still my favorite, but Honey I washed the Kids isnt far behind!
Lush's soap is the most mositurizing and best smelling soap in the world. I can't stop sniffing myself!
