Delicious , like the real thing

Love Mad Moose Japanese whiskey. I now have little to no alcohol tolerances but non-alcoholic spirits make amazing cocktails. Only 10 cals per service and beautifully wax dipped bottle, it’s all oaked, and neat and tastes like whiskey (unlike non—alcoholic red wine that does not taste like wine ever 🤣).

Pretty tasty

I'm not a whiskey person so I was a bit nervous about trying this. But I was pleasantly surprised by the aroma of it (oaky and fruity). The texture was very smooth and velvety, and has warm herby notes that are almost sweet. There's a lot of barley remnants in it, making the drink kind of cloudy looking and was offputting at first, but when I drank some, I didn't detect any of the remnants. They're easily removeable by waiting for the drink to settle or straining. I personally would mix this drink and not drink it straight, but it's pretty good!

Surprisingly close to whiskey

Honestly, I was pretty surprised by the taste. It actually tastes quite a lot like whiskey, with a nice spicy note. Of course, it’s not exactly the same as regular whiskey, but it definitely gives me that whiskey-drinking feeling without the alcohol.

I like that it’s only 10 calories per serving, plant-based, and made in Canada.

I prefer having it over ice, it really gives me that feeling of sitting down and enjoying a glass of whiskey!

If you’re looking for something a little more sophisticated than a Diet Coke or bubbly, this could be a fun option to try.

Impressed!

I was really impressed with Mad Moose! I love that it gives you that warm, whiskey-inspired flavour without the alcohol, so it’s perfect for making a fun mocktail that still feels a little elevated. I can't believe this isn't alcohol!

I was pleasantly surprised at how this felt like a proper drink! I loved that I was able to enjoy my long afternoon with my significant other with my non alcoholic Japanese beverage and I was pick up my little one soon after.
