This mascara was a huge disappointment! I had used Maybelling for many years (way back when they had the little red "spit box" with the brush) ...l not too many of you will remember this one. Anyway, I was not happy with the Colossal Volume mascara. It went on in messy globs and there was no way you could put on a second coat to enhance your lashes. They went stiff and spiky, and I prefer a more natural look. I found it flaked onto my cheeks too ... not a good look!

Not their best product!

I bought this mascara just because it was on sale at the mall one day and i said to my self why not right?, so I tried it and it does make your lashes thick and long ! but I don't like it because it does not curl my lashes and even if I use it after I use a lash curler it doesn't keep the hold, but other then that its a great mascara.

An amazing product! Very much affordable. No clumping, very nice applicator, makes your lashes HUGE! My only complaint is that you have to be very caful when applying, it's very easy to apply to much by accident and make your lashes stick together, but other than that it's a great product!

Ok so I mean this mascara sort of works, but not that well....but here is why i hate it....IT STINKS!!!....i mean its not an unplesant smell, but its sooo strong that you can smell it for hours after you put it on...I mean are your eyelashs supposed to smell?

This mascara was great for about 2 weeks. It does build amazing volume. However after 2 weeks, i noticed major flaking and I would have lots of black specks under my eyes and on my cheeks. I even tried another tube thinking maybe it was a fluke. But no, the exact same flaking again happened after 2 weeks. Overall, not impressed.

This is one of those mascaras that a girl must have in their make up bag!

It gives you great volume and a bit of lengthening. I'm asian and I have short eyelashes and it did wonders for me. When i wear it, people think I'm wearing fake lashes because it gives you the volume and length. It makes your lashes look full instead of clumped together.
As for the girls that wear contact lenses, this won't irritate your eyes at all. I know some mascara makes your eyes burn and watery after you put it on but don't worry, this one is safe! The waterproof one is the best as I have problems with mascara smudging to the bottom of my eyes. It stays on the whole day!
The only drawback of this is it's hard to come off. It will take at least 2 washes to get if out completely, but since it stays on the whole day without smudging, it's worth the time cleaning!

This is by far my favourite mascara. I've always switched mascaras when I finished a tube but this is the first time that I will definitely keep buying it. I often get accused of wearing false lashes on an average day. The big brush makes it really easy to apply. I find that even when it's partially dried out it doesn't leave clumps and still creates the same volume. I almost like it better a little drier so I don't smudge my whole face. Takes well to lash primers.

I've seen it on all kinds of lashes and it's been effective every time.
It is so affordable for the quality and simply can't be beat.

I have used alot of different types of mascara. I was always a fan of maybellines 'Great lash waterproof' masacra, which I used for quite some time. But I must say, this is my new go to mascara, for a day at work or a night out on the town. It just works wonders.

I love love love this maybelline colossal. it's affordable and makes your eyes look pretty. I recommend it for girls who are looking for affordable yet good mascara.

This mascara makes your lashes look great.
After a few hours of wear I find that it will flake a bit, and sit under my eyes. There are other similar mascara's that do this, Bad Gal and Buxom.
