Being fully honest the bottle was what attracted me to it the most, however after watching all the commercials i was convinced that it was the new miracle to my eyelash woes....then i bought it. The first thing i noticed was the smell, it kind of smelled the way too old mascara does, gross. when i put it on excited that i might be underestimating it, i looked in the mirror to be slightly dissapointed. The mascara did not much more then my regular cheap mascara (which only costed me a dollar) did. Personally i didnt find any satisfaction in this product except the nice packaging.

The Maybelline Volume Express Mascara comes with a not so nice smell that last all day. I wouldn't strongly recommend it.

After reading all the positive feedback on this mascara, I was eager to try it out. I rushed to Target and bought it in Glam Black. I went home, unwrapped the attractive flourescent tube, applied and looked into the mirror excitedly........i couldn't tell i was wearing mascara. I thought that maybe i hadnt put enough on so i tried with my other eye with more coats and it just clumped. i wanted it to be good, but it just wasnt :(! 5 minutes later, it was flaking and falling under my eyes. it continued to do this throughout the day. I ended up bringing it back to Target and getting a refund.
SUMMARY: not worth it, doesn't live up to the hype, sadly.

It took awhile before I had an occasion to wear and test out this mascara but I finally got to try it out. I found that Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express worked well at making my lashes look full. It gave me volume and lenghthened my lashes that can be somewhat sparse. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers though, I did not like the smell of the product. I am really picky when it comes to makeup and fragrance. I have liked the look of many glosses etc but if they smell too chemically or fragrant I get rid of them. Anyway, I don't like that this mascara smells a bit strong and chemically. MissChickie is right though, you cannot smell it when it is on...so I guess I can always plug my nose during application!

Just bought, and I Love it already. Lashes look SOOOOO long!!! Not at all clumpy....smooth application, love the brush

I bought this mascara on sale, I was out of my usual brand and saw the display. I have been very impressed with the way it adds length, color, and thickness without weighing down my lashes. A great product at a great price.

I liked the size of the brush, the color, and packaging.
Although I didn't see a waterproof formula.
It did legnthen my lashes but I also felt like rather than add more volume it just separated all my lashes more than I would have liked.

This mascara is wonderful! It really plumps up your lashes without making them all clumpy.

I really like this product because it doesn't clump.

This is an excellent product, and I love the color! It does a good job in lengthening my lashes and keeping them separate. It doesn't flake, which is a real plus for me.
