I had been using Cover Girl mascara for a while, so I thought I'd give Maybelline a try. The yellow tube and packaging was definitely the thing that attracted me most. It was also a good size. When I got home, I was extremely excited to use it, but when I opened it, there was this weird odor. It smelled like pollen. That was a big turn off for me. The volume was great though. My lashes seemed thicker. It's not exactly smudge proof. It had caused me dark eyes a couple times, but I think it you keep your hands away from it, it will keep from smudging. To be completely honest though, if I were to buy another mascara right now, I would definitely try a different one. After a while, it doesn't seem to do the trick anymore. Just normal volume. No more colossal.

THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT AND EASY TO APPLY FOR BUSY MOMS. IT GIVES THE APPEARANCE OF SOMEONE WHO HAS SPENT A LOT OF TIME ON THEMSELVES.

I did not notice any difference in my lashed when I used this product. I ended up giving it to my daughter because the haddle was very uncomfortable to hold. It is very fat and has no ridges for gripping, It slipped out of my hand twice and I gave it up.

This was my HG mascara, until i found Lash Extentions, but thats a different review. It's clumpy on me, and i HATE clumpy. the stopper part that gets off extra mascara doesn't work, its stuck to the top of the brush. Cute, and Bright packaging tho. I also love how the color is a very dark black.

I was not really impressed with this mascara. I had heard so much hype I just had to go out and get it and was really dissapointed with the results. It does make your lashes darker and a little longer but that is about it...save your money.

I bought this mascara last month because I heard it was great. I personally like it, it does it's purpose. I'd recomment it.

Absolutely love this mascara!! Definitely made a difference to the length and thickness of my lashes. My only one negative comment is the smell, its horrible.

Been using this for a couple of months, and I absolutely ADORE this mascara! No clumps, and application is easy! I already have long eyelashes, and this just adds so much more volume, and makes my overall look even more beautiful.

I have been a fan of Maybelline's Volum' Express mascara for several years now as I love that it makes my lashes look thicker and fuller but I have been bowled over by Maybelline's latest edition, The Colossal Volum' Express Mascara.

Every mascara says 'no clumps' on the tube but that's not always strictly true in practice. I can actually confirm there were no clumps and after wearing all day it didn't flake either. This mascara added length to my lashes and looked incredibly light and natural on close inspection.

I tend to think its the brush that makes all the difference to the look of the lashes after application which is why I don't carry high end brands in my kit. I was surprised then to find that even when using a disposable wand to apply to one eye you couldn't tell the difference between the lashes I used the Maybelline brush on.
