I am one of those fair skinned girls that constantly has dry skin for my face. With the dream matte mousse foundation I am able to apply my foundation once with no touch ups and no scaly, flaky spots showing. Is it amazing you ask... UH YA!! I find applying a light facial lotion on before applying this product works like a dream. The price was great, I purchased on sale at shoppers drug mart for $7.99 CAD. I have found NO other foundation product that is so light and smooth, it feels like there is nothing on my face. Not to mention the perfect finish look, i absolutely love it and would recomend it to anyone!! :)

this foundation does just as it claims to do: blend evenly and deliver pure matte perfection.
maybelline's dream matte mousse is a light, air-whipped foundation. it's texture literally feels like touching chocolate mousse.
it's light and not cakey, and best applied with your fingers (to warm it up). so, it's great for beginners or those who have no brushes, or no time. i definetely reccomend setting it, however. this isn't one of those foundations you wear on a warm day, because it will slip and slide and melt right off your face (when sweating, or if your face becomes EXTREMELY oily; i have oily skin in most areas & haven't had any problems unless in the heat).
with a primer, this foundation does literally glide on like a dream. but, it's very important that you buff it into your skin very well. this will give you a flawless finish.
i don't reccomend this foundation to people with dry skin, because it does cling to dry patches. if you have combination skin like i do, you can get away with it. if you let a moisturizer sink into your skin for about 5 minutes before you put your primer on, the dry patches aren't even noticable.
overall, i really like this foundation and for the price, you can't beat it.

I've tried every foundation and I always go back to this one. The only con is that it wares off during the day but you an easily fix that. If you wear a primer under your foundation it should stay on all day. The foundation is easy to apply, has great coverage and lots of shades to match any skin tone.

I love this foundation! I never really wore fundation until recently. I found this on sale at Target and it just happened to match my skin perfectly. I have a lot of redness from eczema and this foundation covers it flawlessly. I thas a nice soft feel when going on and soft finish. It does not look like i have anything on at all which is perfect. A little goes a long way with this foundation. I can cover my entire face with a pump or two. I will keep this in my make up bag at all times.

i have combination skin and i love this product =) i find it is very easy to blend especially if you apply a good face primer before applying it. it gives medium to full coverage depends on how you apply it also depends on which brush or technique you use to apply this foundation on. i use stippling brush, to stipple this mousse product on to my face then swirl it to get the effect of airbrush look. then i use concealer brush dab some product on and gently pad on to area that needs to be conceal. then i lightly dust setting powder over it or if i want full coverage i'd dust a foundation powder over it as well. have been using this product for very long time and also been using this product on my clients =)

I have fairly clear, but uneven skin, and this product is the perfect coverage to even out my skintone. I have used this product for over 5 years, and I have tried other products that just don't measure up! Liquid foundations are sticky, but this mousse is smooth and easy to apply. If you're wanting less coverage, you can take a finger dip and add some face lotion to it, rub on, and there you go - tinted moisturizer! The smell is mild, it's safe on my sensitive skin, and matches my tan skin (a shade that's very hard to match in other products!)
Must have for that photo-perfect skin.

I absolutly love this product a must have in every girls cosmetic bag, ive used it for years as both a concealer and foundation i found the coverage and longevity from this foundation was what we all dream of from a makeup. one application would last all day and so easy to apply without harsh foundation ines. soft weighltess formula that blends well with your own skin tone. Girls who dont havem much time or perfer to wear minimal makeup this is the product for you!

Smell - Next to none :) That's what I like!
Texture - Literally feels like mousse! it is sooo light and fluffy...I didn't think something that light and fluffy would cover anything on my face...but I was very wrong! I don't even have to use concealer because it gives me an amazing coverage and doesn't even feel like I am wearing anything at all! If you have large pores however, I wouldn't recommend using this product as it sits in the holes and kind of emphasises them :( I wouldn't use it on super dry/flaky skin either because it also brings out the dryness of your face :(
Packaging - I love that it comes in a pot. You can apply it with your fingers, a sponge, or dab your foundation brush right into the pot!
Overall rating - I'm hooked! I love how amazing it feels on my skin and I hope that they come out with a few darker shades that aren't as pink for my pro makeup kit!

It's not often that I wear foundation, mainly because I have a hard time finding a product I like. That was until I came across this product from Maybelline. I love the way it goes on my skin and that it looks natural. I have recommended this to my friends and family.

I just purchased the dream matte mousse foundation after finishing a pot of cover girl. I actually purchased it out of mistake, but what a great mistake it was!
I LOVE this foundation, it goes on silky and stays all day! The colour matched my skin perfectly (ivory). It is a little pricy but SO very worth it.

I'm only 26 and have a few lines here and there and some circles under my eyes, and it covers everything without effort!
