Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Foundation Stick
I am a huge fan of the Maybelline fit me line and I feel horrible giving a not so positive review, but unfortunately I did not like the Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Foundation Stick. I found it too thick and sticky to apply and could not use it as a foundation, maybe more so of a concealer but I still did not find it very effective for that. I personally would recommend sticking to the liquid foundation they offer which is amazing and worth every penny.
I love how I can simple put the Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Foundation Stick right into my purse and take it with me anywhere I go to touch up when I need to. But I've found that this foundation isn't so shine free after all. After a few hours my face gets super shinny.
I do not recommend this foundation stick at all if your a very oily skin type like me doesn't last that long at all.
This product is very average to me - it isn't terrible but it isn't amazing either.
Firstly, it is inexpensive and goes on sale quite a bit at Shoppers but they don't really have much of a colour selection. I counted 8 different shades in total. It has an "Anti-Shine" core that you can visibly see when you buy the product, it just looks like a white circle in the center of the stick - it seems to work well because I don't have much shine when I use this product.
The product is very, very soft and glides effortlessly across your face when you are applying it and it is easily blend-able. I blended it with my fingers and it felt "powdery" to touch and so I really didn't like the feeling of that. The stick itself also doesn't last very long, I rarely used mine and it was out within 2-3 months. It also doesn't last long throughout the day .. I wouldn't wear this to work or to an event.
Also, it didn't cover very well and I don't recommend you try to build up the coverage because when I tried it look very cakey and thick.
I did wear this product underneath a higher coverage foundation and it actually made my foundation spread easier and also gave me a matte makeup look.
Je suis déçu par le produit. Il laisse un fini huileux dans le visage après peu de temps après l'application. Bâton pratique pour l'application sur le visage.
I like the fit me stick but I found I used it up really quickly. Maybe I was not using it properly. I might get it again and only use it on areas I feel I need fuller coverage. I did find it did a good job covering my age spots.
I purchased my foundation stick at a reduced price, so I decided to give it a try to see the quality.
The colour range is decent, but the amount of product does not seem worth the buy.
It is incredibly easy to apply, but is difficult for me to blend out flawlessly.
The texture is very buttery, so its easy to wipe away accidentally throughout the day.
Since the texture is buttery, if it is not set with a powder it will fade quickly.
Even when powdered the foundation has a slight greasy/buttery feeling and doesn't last as long as a liquid.
This product was so disappointing for me because I love the Maybelline "fit me" line. The foundation stick claims to be an SHINE-FREE foundation, perfect for oily or combination skin but it isn't. Maybe it is just my skin but I did not like the finish of this foundation nor did I like the coverage. This foundation was streaky and I found that it didn't last more than 3-5 hours. Waste of money and it doesn't come in many shades.
I like the concept of a foundation stick. The first time I applied this, I really liked it. It seemed to have decent coverage and actually lasted longer than I thought it would. The next few times I used this, it didn't last nearly as long and didn't look very good. I also found that it really clogged my pores and had to stop using it.
Although i like the other products from the Fit me line, I DO NOT prefer this at all! The price is great but it doesnt stay blended on the skin and feels too cakey.
this foundation is little bit creamy . Does not work good on my skin as by mistake got wrong shade . Love to try of my own skin tone
