I also received this mascara product from ChickAdvisor to sample. I absolutely love the packaging, and I really am a slave to packaging! I think it's super cute, and I'd be comfortable pulling it out of my make-up bag anywhere anytime (unlike the old Great Lash mascara tube in pink and green...for some reason it just reminds me of a Grandma).

The play on a stiletto is super cute and gives an idea of the main functional benefit of the mascara - that the product probably lengthens your lashes like a stiletto heel is long and skinny! However, I felt that it was more of a 'pump' as it was a natural look and while I like natural make-up when it comes to mascara I want it to be the one thing that's noticeable. I really was hoping for more length and more 'body' in my lashes. However, for a girl thatt's really looking for a very natural look, yet a look that still defines her eyelashes a little bit, it would be a great product.

Also, I have very sensitive eyes and wear contact lenses. The product made my eyes sting a little bit, and I tried it numerous times to make sure it wasn't something else making my eyes sting (i.e. eye shadow).

Again - if you're looking for a more 'sultry night out' look, or even just more noticeable lashes, I'm not sure it's the best choice. But, for those natural seekers out there, it could be your new favourite product!

Also received this from Chick Advisor. I think this is a good day-wear product. It gives you similar results as Lancome's Definicil mascara - long and individually separated lashes. I've been using it over the holidays and enjoyed the 'enhanced' natural look it gives. There's no clumping so far. And the product doesn't weigh my lashes down, so the curls stay put after application. I was pretty impressed by that since my lashes always droops after putting on mascara. For $8 at the drug store, I'd recommend this. One thing that bothers me a little is the scent. I found it a bit too pungent for a mascara. It's not an unpleasant smell, but I'm just not into overly scented products.

I received this mascara as part of the Product Review Club and was really excited to try it....too bad it didn't deliver. In a market where most mascaras are delivering double-duty such as lengthening AND volumizing or lengthening AND curling, this mascara is a one-trick pony. To be fair, the mascara is only marketed as a lengthening mascara, but it doesn't lengthen lashes exceptionally well. I've used mascaras that lengthens better and personally, I want my mascara to do more than that. I don't know how much this mascara is, but I'm sure its comparable to other drugstore brands that deliver more. Don't bother trying this mascara out it's not worth it.

I recieved this from the product review club and thought that it worked pretty well and there were no problems whatsoever. I found that it passed the test when it came to not giving the effect of a raccon eye and there seemed to be no smudges when applied. I also have to add tha tI like the stilleto theme design for the mascara ;) Even if it's not the best I've tried I would totally recommend it !!!

Packaging and the shape of the tube is nice. Nice and slender to fit into any purse.
This mascara lengthens lashes, but that's about it. Even with numerous coats, the result is not very apparent.

I've seen this product on shelves down in the states and it retails for about $8USD. I wouldn't recommend this product, you're better off spending your money elsewhere.

First off, I thought the packaging was rather nice, I like how the style of the tube played into the name of the product, it really did look like a stiletto heel!

I gave this a shot after reviewing the Lancome Oscillation and L'Oreal Beauty Tubes mascaras, and unfortunately it just did not stack up!

There's nothing terribly bad about this mascara--it darkens and separates your lashes somewhat and performs all basic mascara duties. My issue is that it did not go above and beyond at all. It was just ho-hum. No super length, no amazing volume or lash definition, it was average to remove at the end of the day. Nothing really remarkable. With all the new innovations in the mascara field out there, I was expecting something that could at least compete.

I'm not sure how much this product cost so I can't comment on value, but I suppose if it is under $6 and you just want something basic then it's ok. However if you're looking for a mascara that works for you, I would search elsewhere.

This mascara did not really wow me at all. I've given it a shot a few times now, and it just did not get the job done.

Some things I did like about the Lash Stiletto Mascara was the packaging. Maybelline has been doing a top job in that department lately. I like that the bottle is thin (as opposed to the thick bottle the colossal has), as it takes up less space in my makeup bag. As well, the thin wand makes for easy application. This mascara also did not clump my lashes together, which is a big problem I have with most.

The things I didn't really like about this mascara is that it provided no volume whatsoever to my lashes. I felt as though it looked like I wasn't really wearing any mascara at all. It was somewhat hard to notice it. While it did add a bit of curl to my lashes in the beginning, they fell flat very quickly. As for the promise of long lashes, I don't think this product delivered. After about 3 coats my lashes were lacking both volume and length.

I don't think I will be buying this product in the future. I'll be sticking to Maybelline's Colossal Volum' Express instead.

I received this mascara in brownish/black as part of the Product Review Club.

My first reaction to the packaging was some excitement to finally see a product that looked the part of its name as well as the promise to provide the ultimate in length. I know most mascara users including myself ultimately want just that.

Once I tried the product a few things that stood out was the very real "Ultimate Length" and the fact that just like the packaging stated there was no need to let the lash dry between layers.

My only dislike to the product was that is didn't provide the volume lash that I typically look for in a mascara product, but to be fair to the trial that wasn't something that was promised so I cant really give it a bad rap just on my own preference.

Great Product, Great Packaging & True to its word!

The first thing I noticed about this mascara was the awful smell. It really stinks, literally. I decided to try it out anyway despite the offensive smell.

This mascara separated and lengthened my lashes very well. I loved the way it made my lashes look super long. Even with two coats I didn't get any clumps. The brush isn't super large but it is on the long side (more than an inch) which was a little awkward at first. I only tried this mascara on my upper lashes because I rarely ever wear mascara on my lower lashes.

The only downside to this mascara is that after a long day of wear it started to flake and rub off on my upper eyelids. I seem to always have this problem with Maybelline mascaras. Granted that this mascara didn't start rubbing off until at least 9 hours after I applied it (it usually only takes about 4 hours with other Maybelline mascaras), but it was still annoying. Perhaps a waterproof formula would stay on better. I wish this mascara didn't flake and rub off because if it weren't for this problem it would become my new everyday mascara.

Very sexy and chic on the outside, but doesn't deliver on the inside.

This mascara claims to lengthen lashes and contains a combination of lengthening ‘polymers to stretch the lash'; however I measured my upper and lower lashes, before and after application, hoping to believe their claim. End result--no difference.

This produces a natural-looking effect, so when this mascara comes out in January, those wishing to have long lengths to their lashes like a stiletto does to legs, should look elsewhere.
