McCafe Dark Espresso - Coffee Snob Approved!

I was a little skeptical with McDonalds coffee (being a proud coffee snob) but I was pleasantly surprised. Deep smooth flavor, not burnt, great smell ..... would have again.

Convenient but not the same as in-store coffee

I'm a frequent McDonald's coffee drinker and was thrilled that they now offer Nespresso compatible pods for a quick and convenient shot of espresso at home. For the price, it's pretty much on par with all other Nespresso pods and it's great that they are widely available at grocery stores. The challenge with most at these pods is that the flavour is not as strong and is even a bit watered down compared to store bought espresso.

McCafé Dark Roast Espresso capsules are my go-to! McCafé has always been my favorite coffee, and this one hits the spot. It’s bold, flavorful, and works perfectly with Nespressi machines. The best part? It’s super affordable! Definitely recommending it to anyone who loves good coffee without spending too much.

Easy, no mess cafe quality drink at home

Made a caramel latte at home with the McCafe dark roast espresso.

The aroma is so good and not bitter. will definitely try it again with less milk.

It’s great when you want a latte and don’t have lots of time.

Delicious start to my morning

I absolutely loved these nespresso pods by McCafe. I tried the dark roast espresso flavour and it was so delicious. The pods are so easy to use and to recycle after use. Overall I think it’s such a great purchase and if you see them in the grocery store isles snatch them because I promise you won’t regret it.

Bold and smooth flavours

Bold and such a smooth flavour. You can definitely have this with some milk or creamer. But i thought it hit the spot.

Less packaging

I like that the McCafé Espresso - Nespresso® compatible capsules have no unnecessary packaging, so it's more eco friendly. However, I'm worried about the freshness of each capsule. Instead of foil top, it's paper. I think the capsule will loss its flavour, aroma and freshness faster than other capsules.

Excellent quality coffee

Really enjoyed the flavour of this dark roast espresso. You could taste the notes of dark chocolate. The pods are great quality and love that they have a screen for the coffee to distill. My only issue is the storage bag. I wish their was a way to seal the bag again so that the pods stay fresh longer.

Great tasting McDonalds Espresso at Home

The McDonalds dark roast Nespresso pods were great tasting. They provided the right amount of crema and taste. I generally like how a McDonalds coffee tastes and this was very similar. It is great that I am able to make this at home.

Great bold espresso

I really enjoyed the rich boldness of this Nespresso coffee! The flavour is full without a bitter aftertaste. The crema is very abundant making the coffee extra decadent! I definitely will purchase this delicious coffee over and over again!
