I was determined to give my baby the best start I possibly could in addition to finding a vitamin that contains true Folate rather than the synthetic form, Folic Acid (read more on folic acid metabolism if this topic interests you), and stumbled across these at Pomme Natural Market in Port Coquitlam! The fact that a 30 day sample of Blood Builder (an Iron supplement) was included as a bonus made my decision to buy that much easier. While the pills are a bit on the large side, they are not that difficult to take, and I admit I've had taken four at once on more than one occasion. I've never had nausea as a result of these pills although they definitely have a unique smell to them; I also sometimes experience an aftertaste that is usually common to iron supplements when taking these with water. All vitamins present in these pills are obtained from natural ingredients (like cabbage for Vitamin K, whole carrots for Vitamin A, and broccoli for Folate) and the formula is free from gluten, pesticides, soy, dairy, and GMO's. They're also kosher and vegetarian! Highly recommended! Have never felt healthier than during my pregnancy and have passed all blood work and other tests with flying colours :) Couldn't be happier with my choice in prenatals!!
