Good alternative lotion

The Mustela Hydra Bébé Body Lotion with Organic Avocado is a good alternative to my usual lotion I use on my kids. I like the texture because it’s non greasy, dries quick and isn’t too thick. The bottle size was small enough to throw in a purse or travel. The only downside is the fragrance of this product was not my favourite. It didn’t smell natural. It smelled like a strong perfume. I definitely wouldn’t put this on a newborn. I would purchase if it was on sale.

Didn't enjoy the scent

I used this lotion on my toddler a few times, and though it's easy to apply, slippy, absorbs well and leaves the skin soft, I did not enjoy the scent. It was quite powdery and it lingered for longer than I liked.

the smell is too much :'(

This lotion was thick and creamy without feeling greasy. It absorbed into the skin very easily and still felt lightweight. But I don't like the smell! I think it's a really overpowering grandma perfume smell 😭 If this was scentless it would have been perfect!

Not the product I’ll grab for

It’s a silky product and good for a baby’s skin for day-to-day use but not a deep moisturizer. The scent is too much for a baby product but the pump makes it practical.

Decent

This was a nice moisturizer that my son enjoyed. It was slightly stickier and did not smell as amazing as our normal brand, but I would buy this if our regular choice was not available. It is much better than a lot of baby moisturizers out there! It dried quickly and kept my son’s skin soft.

The Scent is too strong

This is a lightweight lotion that deeply moisturizes baby’s skin but my biggest concern is the scent. It lasted almost all day. My baby was so uncomfortable I had to give her a bath to get rid of the smell. It’s too scented for a baby. Please make a fragrance free version for babies.

Works well

I used this to moisturize my toddler which I do daily post bathes. IT surprisingly moisturized it well keeping it well hydrated. Unfortunately I was not fond of the signature scent.

Non graisseuse

J’ai récemment découvert la lotion Mustela et c’était une nouvelle marque pour moi. Je ne la connaissais pas du tout avant de tester ce produit.

La lotion a une odeur assez présente au moment de l’application. Le parfum est agréable, mais heureusement il ne reste pas trop longtemps sur la peau, ce que j’ai bien aimé.

La texture est aussi un point positif. La crème n’est pas graisseuse, ce qui est vraiment pratique lorsqu’on l’utilise sur un enfant. J’ai pu habiller ma fille immédiatement après l’application sans avoir l’impression que la peau restait collante ou humide.

Au final, le produit fait bien le travail.

Par contre, je trouve qu’il reste assez similaire à d’autres lotions pour bébé sur le marché.

Je l’aime bien et il est efficace, mais ce n’est pas nécessairement un produit qui se démarque énormément pour moi.

Good lotion

I always use lotion after a bath, so it’s an easy product to incorporate into our routine. I enjoyed the light sent, and it was soft on the skin. I would use this product again.
