I bought this blush on a whim while in sephora, its a little sister to NARS blush, orgasm, which is a cult favorite. its a lovely peach shade with iridescent highlights and large glitter flecks in the cake. at first, i was a little worried it'd be TOO glittery, but it gives you just the right amount of glitter when applied with a fan brush or blush/contour brush. a little goes a long way. the best way to apply this is to stick your pointer finger and middle finger on your face, right next to your nose, blush shouldnt ever be applied any closer than that unless youre going for the clown effect. pucker your lips, and lightly dust the apples of your cheeks, forehead, wherever else you want a little glow.
I've started using this everyday, because it gives you that perfect, girly, ive been up to something devious glow (hence the name) and the packaging is wonderful. it makes it impossible to break the blush and theres the perfect sized mirror inside! gotta love NARS.
There is a lot of hype over this particular shade of NARS blush. I finally gave in and purchased it a couple months ago. I am a bi-racial (black and Filipino) light-skinned gal. I really love this shade because of it's peachy tone with small flecks of gold. I use my Sonia Kashuk flat top blusher brush to apply it. Orgasm glides on really smoothly, and it almost has a creamy finish when applied.
I have noticed that in the summer (and I have more of a tan), more of the gold shimmer stands out, with a bit of a pink/peach overtone. As my skin pales, the peachy tone is more noticeable. I think darker skinned ladies won't benefit from this shade.
I have light skin and usually have a hard time finding a good blush. This is it for me!! It has a subtle color and it a beautiful shade. Blends easily. I love it!!
This is a no-brainer blush. You can quickly add a bit of colour and glow to your face without even having to think. The colour is a wonderful peachy-pink colour with a bit of shimmer. I find the shimmer can be a bit overpowering for day if you put on more than a light layer of the blush, but it can definitely be used all over for a wonderful glowy look.
i cannot tell you how much i LOVE this product!!! the color is great for most skin tones, the shimmer is not too much its just right, instantly brightens your face and give a pretty pop of color, easy to apply and competely blendable! i could go on and on about nars orgasm blush, i can honestly say that if i had to pick my favorite piece of makeup that i own, this would win the prize!!
One of my HG makeup products... it was a splurge since at $25 US/$29 Cdn each, it's one of the pricier blushes on the market. Once I tried Nars, I was hooked. Since then, I only buy Nars blushes. Wonderful quality and pigment. Orgasm is incredibly natural, a soft peachy pink shimmer. It's my daytime staple. Wonderful wear, and each pan lasts me about 2 years with almost daily use.
The compact is sleek, but I don't like how the rubberized compact always gets dirty so I'm always having to wipe it down! Otherwise, well worth it. Sin is my other staple in this great blush collection.
This is a cream blush, and it applies and blends in well. It's a pretty, pinky color, with a little shimmer to it. I also like the case, kinda rubbery soft, with a mirror. It's cute. Not amazing, but I'd probably get it again.
I love Nars and definitely recommend their products. Orgasm is a beautiful colour but I do think there is too much hype over it. It's been labeled the most universally flattering blush but I think otherwise. It's flattering on fair-med skin tones but barely shows up on darker skin tones. Nars' Deep Throat is a good alternative for darker skin tones if you want the same effect as Orgasm. But otherwise it is a beautiful blush and stays on quite well. This was THE blush that I used on Ali during the filming of the podcast Where'd You Get That?! :)
I have their new Orgasm blush that is Cream to Powder in a tube--AMAZING! It also has sparkle to it--gorgeous. They call this new stick "The Multiple" because you can use it on your eyes, cheeks, and lips.
I read about this in a beauty magazine and decided to give it a try, Found it in Sephora in the US, so it might be available in their new Yorkdale store here in TO. I am fair skinned, but prone to rosecea, so I'd stopped using blush years ago as I already looked too ruddy. With the rosecea under better control now, I fond this blush is just the right amount of healthy glow and the "glow" is really subtle. I never used to spend a lot of money on any one cosmetic, but I'm finding that for the right product, it's money well spent.
Find it, try it, you'll love it!!!
