I use this shampoo about twice per week as I have very oily hair. I often try to rotate my shampoos as they seem to add to the oily-ness. I was very happy when I tried this shampoo and noticed that my hair did not become oily within a day as it usually did!
when you wash your hair with this shampoo it will make it feel kind of almost dry (even though it's wet... if that makes sense) but it feels very squeeky clean. After applying conditioner, the "dry" feeling goes away and you are left with very clean, soft hair.
For those of you who dye your hair, you may understand this...
after using this shampoo, I find that my hair feels simular to the way it feels after it is colour treated. Very soft and full of body. It is very useful for stripping all of the buildup of oil and hair products that you think are being cleaned out by regular shampoos!
In terms of the smell, it is okay. It does not smell "pretty" or "fruity," but more of the traditional Neutrogena smell... very clean.

This is a great shampoo to use once a week instead of your usual shampoo it.helps remove all that build up from using different products in your hair and helps your favorite shampoo work better

i sure dont like the smell. how ever using once a aweek has changed my hair from dull to soft shiny and manageable

Before I used this shampoo, residue built up from hair products would always weigh my hair down and make my hair prone to greasiness. This shampoo does a great job of removing the residue from my hair without making my hair dry.

I use this once a week now, and I haven't had any more problems with hair products and conditioner residue weighing down my hair anymore. I recommend anybody with a similar problem to try this shampoo, because it works great for me.

Amazing product! Cleans all left over products right out of your hair. Use weekly to get all the build up out. Don't even need to finish with conditioner.

I am so pleased with how well this shampoo works at removing product buildup from my hair. I use it once every two weeks as a clarifying shampoo, which is what this essentially is. The price is a little expensive for a drugstore shampoo, but it is very worth it in the end. My hair has felt healthier and it removes the weighed down feeling and limpness you get after weeks of using all sorts of products. Highly recommended for your hair care routine!

AMAZING! I actually bought this for my SO who spends so much time doing his hair (honestly more than me) and uses a ton of product. He thought he had dandruff but really it was just residue from his products that our regular shampoo just couldn't take off. Use this product weekly as indicated on the bottle and it will work wonders! His hair and all the residue is gone. I even used it myself and can't believe how light and how much volume my hair has. It is shine and light, this product removes of the the stuff that we can or can't see that our other products are leaving behind. LOVE IT!!!!

I paid 11.99 for a 946 mL bottle, which I think is reasonable considering other brands are close in price for a lot less product. You only need to use it once a week, which I find is frequent enough as to not dry your hair out. I'm not sure if it's my location/water supply of a more rural community, or my water pressure, but I find I get a lot of buildup on my hair, where it feels really weighed down and greasy. I tend to wash my hair every second day, so I find it very bothersome that my hair turns crummy so fast. I find using this product makes my hair weightless and extends the amount of time needed between shampoos.
