Best Hydrating gel for my dry skin

Every winter my sky feels so dry and looks flaky. When I started using Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel face cream, I started to see a visible difference. My skin started to look better as each day passed. I didn’t see the dry spots like I did before using the cream. I got so many compliments on how good my skin looked which helped me feel so much better. I would absolutely use this product again and highly recommend it for anyone experiencing dry skin especially in the winter months.

Moisturizing!!

I received Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Extra Dry with Hyaluronic Acid in exchange for my honest review.
This moisturizer is extremely suitable for dry sensitive skin. I am always unsure with a gel-cream, i always think it’s going to be sticky, but this goes on smooth and dries pretty quickly. It leaves my skin feeling soft.
It is fragrance free, and the #1 ingredient is water.

I was sent a FREE full sized 47 ml jar of Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Gel Cream for Extra Dry Skin to try in exchange for my honest review.
I've been able to test this product for several weeks now, and have previously tried other Neutrogena Hydro Boost products.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream is an effective lightweight facial moisturizer. I typically use gel moisturizers during the warmer months (i.e. summertime in Manitoba), when my combination skin is oilier, and requires less hydration. When my skin is dryer (i.e. during the colder months), I prefer a cream moisturizer. This Gel Cream is made for Extra Dry skin, so it offers the best of both worlds - a lightweight refreshing gel texture, plus long lasting hydration! Ideal for Combination skin.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost's quenching moisturizers include Purified Hyaluronic Acid and Olive Extract, that promise to "help boost skin's vital hydration & strengthen the skin's barrier". I like that this Gel Cream is Oil-free, Fragrance-free, Dye-free, Paraben-free, Phthalate-free, and Non-Comedogenic.
It absorbed quickly into my skin, making my face feel cool, soothed, and instantly hydrated. It did not irritate my sometimes sensitive skin. It felt clean and not too sticky. Great to use for skin prep, before make up application, especially if your skin is extra dry. It definitely provides a supple look, and left my skin very dewy and smooth. Overall this product made my T-zone a bit too shiny, but it definitely delivered on the hydration boost.
In my mid 40s I'm only getting the odd cycle related breakout, so I'm not sure how well this product would work on acne-prone skin. I think Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Gel Cream is suitable for those who have Extra-Dry skin, Combination skin, and even Sensitive skin. Give it a try if your looking to add a hydrating gel cream to your skin care routine.

Hydrating and reliable

Thanks to Butterly I got to try this hydro boost cream for free in exchange for my honest review. In this current age of skincare where most creams are trying to cure too many skin concerns and have multiple active ingredients that often lead to irritation, this Neutrogena Hydro boost cream is a refreshing return to the basics. It is a hydrating cream. For my skin it did everything it claimed to. It quenched my dry skin and it did not cause any irritation or clog my pores. It is lightweight and absorbs quickly leaving my skin smooth and soft. It does not leave a dewy or greasy finish. I like to use it during the day time because it layers well with both makeup and other skincare products. It does not pill. I like that I can use this on days where I purely want to sooth and hydrate my skin to give it a break. If I really want to, I can also layer it with a serum that has active ingredients (AHA, Vitamin C and so on) without having to worry about a reaction. This is because the main ingredients of the Hydro boost cream are hyaluronic acid and glycerin which are compatible with basically everything. I also love that it is fragrance free.

No more dry skin!

This gel cream is absolutely amazing! It absorbs so well into my skin and does not make it feel sticky. It also has a nice cooling spa like feel to it and no smell which I absolutely love! I use this hydro boost gel cream under my primer and make up and omg I didn't get any flakes which I usually do. This is my new go to for dry skin.

Lightweight and hydrating

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Face Cream for Extra Dry Skin is lightweight and hydrating moisturizer. It absorbs quickly and does not irritate my skin. I like the gel texture, it makes cream lay smooth without leaving any spots. I sometimes use it more than once a day when I feel that my skin needs extra hydration, especially after going outside. I love the feeling of soothed and moisturized skin after applying this cream. It gives an even natural glow making skin look healthy and protected. Glad it includes hyaluronic acid that helps attract and lock moisture of the skin, which is very important for extra-dry skin conditions. I like it comes as a fragrance and oil free gel cream and perfect to use under make up.

Thirsty Skin Gets a Big Drink!

In the Winter my skin sometimes hurts because it is so dry. I have two dogs so I have to walk twice a day, everyday regardless. This stuff feels great going on and instantly refreshes the skin, making it feel better almost right away. It really does quench the thirst of my winter skin!
It feels good on my face and absorbs easily. Really nice.

Lightweight but heavy duty

Just as I said in my headline lightweight but heavy duty gel cream. I received this product for free and have to provide my honest review.
This gel cream sinks right in and doesn’t feel greasy yet provides full moisturizing for the day. The first couple days I had to put a little extra gel cream on my face but by day 3 I was using much less.
I love it has hyaluronic acid which helps keep water in my skin making it soft and smooth, being fragrance free, dye free and oil free is a plus in my books.
I took it on vacation with me to see if it made my skin greasy in the heat but it didn’t.
I’d buy this again; bonus that the packaging is recyclable.
