Over dried my skin on my face

This product gave me a reaction on my face. Over dried my face. I stopped using it after 3 tries. As I used it I used less and left it on for shorter period of times. Also did not like the smell of it and it wasn’t flattering

Clay cleanser

I really wanted to like this product for my oily skin but I couldn't get past the clay texture. I much prefer a foam or cleansing balm. My skin did feel lovely aftwards and wasn't oily or shiny but the texture was not for me

Wasn't a big fan

Personally wasn't a big fan of the texture/feeling of the product but that's just me and I know I can be sensitive or picky to things like that. Ingredient wise it'd be nice to see 100% natural but it's slowly getting there. Still thankful for the opportunity to try it out and passed it on to a friend who loves it.

Didn't work for me

#got it free #chickadvisor. This product comes in a packing with a pump, it's easy to use. My skin felt clean first time after using it. But this face cleanser made my skin dry and super itchy. I have oily and acne prone skin.

Too drying, not for everyday use

I was really excited to trying the Neutrogena Skin Balancing Gentle Clay Cleanser. I love that it has polyhydroxy acid (PHA), a great ingredient for exfoliating and deep cleaning skin, but other aspects of the cleanser were lacking. My skin produces lots of oil, but is also really dry (the worst), and this cleanser sucked every last drop of moisture out of my skin. It left me feeling dry and tight and subsequently my skin responded by producing even more oil and becoming oilier than ever. I don't feel that clay is an ingredient that should be used in an everyday cleanser, as it is harsh and drying. Stripping back the ingredients and creating a gentle, moisture-replenishing cleanser with PHA would likely work better. Overall, this product is just too harsh, stripping, and drying.

Basic cleanser, could be better

I didn’t mind the cleaning experience, but overall I don’t think it’s anything special. It actually made my oily skin dry and tight after using it. It also has perfume in it which really isn’t necessary. Especially if you want to use this cleaner on acne prone skin.
