Perfectly curled and lifted lashes!

Thank you to chickadvisor for allowing me to try this for free, mascaras are always so exciting to try since there are so many options out there. When I put this on, I found the brush really helped separate my lashes and coat each lash with its formula. I really found that it was great at holding my curl as well (which literally never happens for me since my lashes are so thin and short). My sister complimented me- and she went to purchase one for herself!! Thank you chickadvisor and Nyx

Nice mascara

The only thing I didn't like is the brush, it's not smooth enough. It's hard, almost scratch myself while applying it. The brush should be change for a smoother one. But the rest, it is nice. The effect is good as advertised.

Not the greatest wand

I received the NYX On the Rise volume mascara free to test from chickadvisor. I’m really disappointed to say that this is one of the worst mascaras I have ever tried. The shape of the brush on the wand was bulky and wavy which make it difficult to coat the lower lashes which resulted in the mascara getting smeared on my face and on the top lashes it wouldn’t go on properly on the corners. The bristles of the brush are super sharp and when I tried to go in right at the start of the lash the bristles jabbed my eye and made my eyes swollen and tears streaked down my face making my makeup ruined. I tried this a couple times after and the formula gets really chunky and goopy so you can’t layer. I had to throw it out.

Impressive!

I tried the NYX On the Rise Volume Liftscara in the shade "black". I have straight and short lashes that grow downwards and I normally have to use waterproof mascara in order to get my lashes to hold a curl. I was very impressed with this mascara. It was very volumizing, truely black in colour, and doesn't clump even with 2 layers. It holds a curl quite well and because it's not waterproof, it was easy to remove at the end of the day. And it didn't smudge, which tends to happen with other non-waterproof mascaras just because of the shape of my eyes.

Great mascara

Fantastic mascara, loved it from the minute I’ve opened it. Simple, straightforward brush makes my lashes long and adds lots of volume. I would definitely recommend it.

Adds tons of volume

This mascara is incredible. It added tons of volume and length to my.natural eyelashes that no other.mascara has ever before. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a mascara that is phenomenal!

The name says it all!

Loved this mascara plain and simple, my only complaint is that it wouldn't say it gives you length. Definitely adds lots of volume to the lashes though and didn't weigh them down which is nice! I got this product for free from Chick Advisor to try and would certainly buy this after it's gone! I also found that it was a great straight from opening it, sometimes you need to let mascara oxidize before you love it and this one I loved right away. So if fullness is what you're looking for it's worth a go!

Long lasting

The curls stayed long and the formula can brush out really natural but long lashes. The layer is build able and would definitely recommend to friends.

Better than many high-end mascaras

Why spend $30+ at Sephora when you go to the drugstore and get a great mascara for less than $15? This mascara is great. It doesn't clumb and gives great volume. I've never been consistent with repurchasing the same mascara because I've never really been that impressed, but this mascara may change that.

Best Drug Store Mascara!

I am impressed with this mascara, i usually use 2-3 different mascaras to get my lashes looking fuller and longer but natural, however this is the only mascara I use since receiving it! It definitely boosts your volume and length! It doesn't clump and my lashes don't shed as much!
