No difference

I was selected to try the pre-shampoo for free. For me, it had a very strong smell that I had to suffer through as it needed to be left on my hair for 5 to 10 minutes before shampooing. Works ok

This is a decent product, but nothing life-changing. It made my hair a little softer, a little shinier, but nothing miraculous. Used it a couple times a week for a couple weeks. Maybe long-term use would show more benefits. My hair is naturally curly, thick, but not coarse or wiry. I color my hair regularly. It tends to be pretty dry.

I did not notice too much of a difference

I had high hopes for this bond repair pre-shampoo, especially given all the hype around bond-building products lately. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations—at least not for my over-processed hair.

I followed the instructions carefully, applied it on dry hair, left it on for the recommended time, and then followed up with shampoo and conditioner. My hair felt slightly softer afterward, but there was no noticeable improvement in strength, texture, or overall health. For something marketed as a deep repair treatment, I expected more.

If your hair is only mildly damaged or dry, maybe you’d have better luck. But for hair that’s been through years of coloring, bleaching, or heat styling like mine, this just doesn’t go deep enough to make a real difference.

A good bargain option!

Having used Olaplex, K12 and many other salon brands, I was interested in trying this more affordable option. It smelled great, didn't weigh my hair down TOO much and my hair felt super soft after using it. I will finish the container, but prefer my Olaplex and K12 because I feel they actually helped make my hair feel thicker, not just sifter, where the OGX did not.

Smells great

This smells so good but unfortunately it didn't work on my hair. I have curly coarse hair and didn't really notice a difference in my curls. Made my hair smell fantastic

Does make hair feel thick

I'm still testing this bond repair protein out, but so far I could feel my hair was thicker and had less frizz. I used it on dry hair and found even though my hair is short, it still took a lot of product to cover my hair evenly.
