I use this as a daily moisturizer in the summer time in conjunction with my bb cream, which has a higher spf. I really liked how runny this was, as I used the olay moisturizing lotion at night, but I didn't like how this had that sticky sunscreen feel after applying. Oddly enough, this also didn't help with my dry spots, despite the "sunscreen feel". On days that I don't wear makeup, I will wear this to protect my skin. This absorbs into the skin pretty quickly, as it is so light, but the "sticky sunscreen" feel does persist, which I usually fix by applying powder on top. I do like how this feels on the skin, as it is not heavy at all, and it smells like the classic olay products.
I bought the Olay lotion for combination/oily skin. For a period of time it worked well for my skin -- it didn't cause my face to be extremely oily or feel heavy. But after a while I noticed that this lotion began clogging my pores. After I stopped using it, my skin became much clearer and had less breakouts overall. Because of the SPF, I think I'll keep this lotion for the summer. It has a very nice fragrance and being oil-free, feels very light on your skin. I would recommend it for anyone to try, because overall it is a very nice lotion!
This is my usual go-to daily moisturizer no matter what the season, because it hydrates my skin while protecting it from the sun. I find the texture of this a little off -- it's almost grainy on my skin, but absorbs really fast, and smells like sunscreen (which I love). I find it doesn't make me greasy, and it sits nicely underneath my makeup. So while this does everything a moisturizer should, it doesn't really wow me in any way. The only reason I continue to use it is because it's one of the only moisturizer's that doesn't make me break out or dry out, and it's fairly cheap considering the amount of product you get for the price. Therefore it's a winner in my eyes, but I'm definitely still on the hunt for my perfect moisturizer!
I enjoy using Olay moisturizer because it goes on light and for the most part, is absorbed well by my skin. I tend to have oily skin so I generally tend to stay away from moisturizers because all they seem to do is sit on my skin. Instead of improving my appearance, they leave my face feeling greasy and looking as if I am sweating excessively because the lotion remains on the surface. However, sometimes my skin gets dry occasionally and that is when I like to apply moisturizer. Olay works well for me and I would recommend it to others.
One of my favourite moiturizing lotion. It works well (does not leave my skin feeling too "oily"), it's not too expensive and you can find it everywhere (you can also get a coupon for it through Brandsaver). I also love the fact that it has a built in moisturizer (I'm a busy mom so using products that can serve multiple purposes is key!)
This is my go to lotion when I am not trying something new. I buy it when it goes on sale, and it is a great basic lotion. It has a bit of SPF, which is great if you are not in the sun all day. Also the bottle is bigger, so it lasts a while, compared to the usual 50ml pots of lotions.
It doesn't do anything special (it does not promise to do anything), but it does moisturize quite well.
So if you want a good basic lotion, this is it. Just wait for a sale or promo.
I like how it has SPF because it is very important and i would probably forget to put sunscreen on if my moisturizer didn't have SPF. It doesn't leave my face feeling oily. It has a bit of a powder feeling, so i would recommend for people with oily skin.
LOVE this moisturizer as my base to foundation. I have combonation/acne skin. Usually when I apply foundation i will have some dry spots, but with this as a first coat, it elimates the appearance of my dry spots. The scent is great! Although I wish it had a pump to dispense the product. I always squeeze out too much.
I have combo/oily skin so i bought the combo oily one and i think it broke me out! i like the formula its nice and light, but too light in my opinion. Its a great moisturizer to use before makeup because if how fast it absorbs. Im not too fond of the scent, but i can live with it. I also have the one for sensitive skin and i love that one because its unscented, again its light so i use it before i apply my makeup, spf 15 which is good though i do recommend at least spf 30. It's non-greasy and this one did NOT break me out :D I bought these on sale for about $10 each, which i think is a good price. Usually they are about $13? So if you are planning to purchase this i would pick it up during a sale.
I'm a big fan of Olay products and this one didn't disappoint me. It mosturizes and feels good on my skin. It's not too thick either which I don't like about many moisturizers.
