I received this for free as part of the Chick Review Club. I love OxiClean! The stuff just works really well on stains. That said, while I used this in the wash and the stains were removed, I didn't notice anything about the brightness of my clothes. I think it will take a few more washes before I notice an effect there. I also didn't have the opportunity to try this on any old or really solid stains and one of the uses is to soak soiled clothes in the stain remover for a long period of time. I would be interested to see what the effect is.

For me, I prefer OxiCleans spot-treating products. They are quick and effective and I can just use a little on the item that needs it instead of having to remember to add something new to my load of laundry.

Hello,my fellow ChickAdvisor. I was lucky enough to be chosen for the Oxiclean champagne and got to try this product out for free. I wasn't expecting much but this really does save my co!ored clothing from fading while getting it clean and the stains out! Any deodorant marks/yellowish colors this will do the job. You can buy it anywhere laundry products are sold and is moderately priced.. It workered well for me.

I received this product from Chickadvisor's product review club for my honest option.

Laundry:
Was a mix of whites and brights.

Stains:
- Something red on a white tanktop
- Melted chocolate
- Blood

Washing:
As I was doing a small load I filled the cup with OxiClean™ Colour Shield Laundry Stain Remover Powder up to the first line. Washing was done on two cycle mode with the first cycle, along with detergent using warm water and the second cycle using cold water.

Post-wash:
Very happy with the results. Everything came out nice and bright. There is no hint of the chocolate or blood stains. The unknown red mark on the tanktop is still there.


Conclusion:
I recommend this product. Over all it did a great job and I like that you can also use it as a pre-wash soak.

Other notes on product:
The power does have a strong smell that I found stuck to my hands after scooping the power. Washing my hands did get rid of the smell and there is no trace of it on the washed clothes.

I haven't actually had the chance to use this yet but I did let my mom use it. My parents go up north every year and it's almost that time again so they went up north to get things ready. While doing so they got some stains on their clothes from raking muddy leafs and from cleaning up around the trailer. Needless to say they came home a big mess and needed something stronger to wash their clothes. I brought over my OxiClean™ Colour Shield Laundry Stain Remover Powder to let my mom use it. She soaked the clothes in in before washing for a couple of hours. She later washed them with her regular detergent. The clothes came out fresh looking and clean with no signs of what had just happened to them in the mud. Mom was happy and so was I because I was able to review the product. I can't wait to try it on my own stuff.

I got this as part of the Product Review Club. First of all. I couldn't find this for the life of me. I checked two stores and found it in the third. So far I have tested it on my whites and fully surprised at the whites being brighter. I haven't done a load of mixed yet, but that is next to come. Hoping to remember to come back to update my posts.

I may have set my expectations too high with oxi clean color shield. I ususally use regular oxo clean powder and assumed it would be different. It works, but I would stick with original!

This was my first time using an OxiClean product and I was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to use and effectively removed most stains. I tend to stay away from powdered laundry products as they tend to leave white marks on dark clothing, but this product rinsed away without leaving any residue behind. OxiClean Colour Shield worked better than my usual spray on product to remove stains.

Got this product free to try. I'll have to say, I've only used it twice and tossed it into wash with my laundry as opposed to soaking specific items. I thought it helped clean my clothes for sure as my pillow cases looked much cleaner than when they were first went in. It will probably work better if I soaked my kids socks, as the dark bottoms did not come out completely. Perhaps I could have used more. I will definitely try using it again and maybe sock some of the soiled socks. #GotItFree #OxyCleanChallenge

I found that this Oxi-Clean Product helped get my clothes whiter while removing stains..totally worth a tryJust throw it into the laundry with the clothes and the clothes came out of brighter and whiter

I received the colour stain laundry remover powder free to try and review. Put powder in warm water and soak your item. I used it on typically stained clothes, and it worked about as well as any other laundry stain remover.

I like things to be pretty simple however, and the ease of just using a spray would probably outweigh me bothering to get a laundry bucket, fill and mix, soaking, empty bucket, unless I had a disaster stain to try and get out. Not a criticism of the powder, just of me wanting to use the simplest method possible. ;)
