Acne treatment with easy application

I’ve been using this spray for a little over a week now. To be totally honest I haven’t noticed a huge improvement in my skin. I wanted to love it and have it solve my bacne issues but for me it hasn’t resolved. I didn’t develop a rash or irritation to it and I did find it easy to apply myself which is an important factor when dealing with the back. The smell and “fumes” I guess you’d call it bothered me, made me cough considerably if I smelled it at all. I will continue to use it In hopes that it’s just going to take a little longer to see results. Overall I would say it is worth a try because of its convenience and maybe you’ll have better/faster results than me.

Haven't used it long enough to see any visible results but I do enjoy that it doesn't have a strong scent or odour and it goes on easily with the spray method of application it is very wet but does dry/absorb fairly quickly into the skin without feeling sticky or tacky

Perfect... For Summertime or Gym Members!

In exchange for an honest review, courtesy of Butterly® and Shoppers Drug Mart®, seven days ago, I received an awesome, free, full, retail-sized canister of this new product from PanOxyl®—one of the top brand names in effective OTC acne treatments. I'm always appreciative to receive and excited to try new products, but in this particular instance, I feel that Butterly® and Shoppers Drug Mart® should have launched this campaign later in the year... when the weather is warmer, less clothing is worn, more skin is shown, and people are more likely to seek treatment for chest or back acne that can be caused by sweating or sunscreen! Today is March 25th. I live in northern BC, where it's been no warmer than 10ºC this week (and as low as 1ºC)... this isn't sunscreen and sweat season! (I don't go to the gym either!)

I can't will or conveniently conjure up a mild breakout on my chest or shoulders! I have had no breakouts to treat, am not inclined to break out at this time of year, and there's nothing for me to prevent or treat until possibly June! Yet I'm expected to post an honest review of the product within 14 days of receiving it (or be penalized by Butterly®).

Have I tried the product? Yes, a few times. I appreciate that there is a locking mechanism on the nozzle, and the product is propelled at any angle when applying. Will I continue to apply this product unnecessarily for an entire 14 days, wasting product that I'll likely need in a couple of months? No.

With 2% salicylic acid to gently exfoliate skin (preventing acne-causing bacteria and oil congestion), alcohol to kill bacteria, niacinamide to calm inflammation and regulate oil production, and Vitamin C to stimulate pigment and scar-correcting collagen (brightening dark spots or reducing red scarring): a great, effective formulation to quickly, conveniently, and effectively treat acne breakouts on one's chest, back, and shoulders, preventing the occurrence of more breakouts.

I wish I had received this product to try in the SUMMER months, when it will be necessary to use, and that I weren't limited to 14 days (after receipt) to post a review. I'll have a better idea of the product's effectiveness during sweat-inducing warmer weather, but... now is not the time nor do I need to use the product.

I can see it being effective and convenient—both for summer holidays AND those who regularly hit the gym, wishing to apply the product post workout shower.

This product functions well but I am not a very big fan of the smell of it. I also do not have terrible acne so I can not really speak to the effectiveness of it.

PanOxyl Acne Body Spray

So I had the opportunity to do a couple more product testing's. Both for PanOxyl products.

So again...these products came at the perfect time, because I had a breakout happening.

I didn't get a ton of time to put this to the test because my product came super late, but here is my take after about 5 days of use.

It did really help to clear up the breakout on my neck and chin, and I think after a few more days it will be completely cleared up, but...I had to take a couple stars off because I had a couple issues with it. Continue for my Pros and Cons.

Pro: Easy to use! Spray on body parts, or if you want to use it on your face spray in your hands and rub into your face.

Con: It made my face feel sticky/tacky. It took a long time for it to dry, and it wasn't a comfortable feeling.

Pro: It helped clear up my breakout, in just a few days.

Con: The smell....it has a very strong chemical smell.

Con: It did start to dry my skin out. Not the end of the world that's what moisturizer is for, but yes it is drying!!

If it wasn't for the 3 Cons I'd probably use it again, however the smell and the tackiness feeling on the skin is a no go for me.

So would I recommend this product? If you can get past the feeling and the smell...heck ya it helped my skin go out and give it a try.
However if you have a sensitivity to smell and have a thing about how stuff feels on your skin, I'd say it's a hard pass, maybe check out their Overnight Spot Patches.

Spray is great for hard to reach spots!

I tested out PanOxyl's Acne Body Spray and appreciated the easy of use when applying to places I might not know I have acne. The container is light weight and easy to manoeuvre when spraying around those hard to reach areas. The product doesn't have a strong smell and goes on smooth without having to rub it in too much. My only negative would be that the aerosol is very fine and if your bathroom isn't super ventilated you will breath in the particles so hold your breath or walk out of the spray cloud when applied. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

Needs to dry faster

It's a generously sized bottle but a bit slippery to handle, especially when trying to spray upside down. I have small hands so I found it a bit difficult to position and spray on my back. It's a constant spray that resembles disinfectant spray in feel and smell. I worry that (like other products with salicylic acid) it may bleach clothes and towels but I haven't noticed anything yet. The bottle claims that it's a non-sticky formula but I find it oily; there's a definite residue on the skin that does not dry quickly. It took maybe 30 minutes to not be slick on my skin. If this was a spray that dries matte or with a powder finish, I would like it a lot more. I think putting products into an aerosol spray is the most convenient and lazy way to apply things. So far it is keeping pimples away - I recently cut my hair so the ends of my hair graze my neck and shoulders so I feel like there are hair oils rubbing against my upper back skin. I will continue using this body spray so I can have clear back and chest skin for summer dresses.

Skeptical

I was a bit skeptical at first because I’ve never heard of body acne spray before. My first thought trying it for the first time is that it’s easy to use, it sprays very gently and dries quickly and doesn’t feel sticky once dried. It has a light weird smells. I’ve started having acne on my back a few months ago so i was actually exited to try this I didn’t see a lot of improvement but maybe its just because it hasn’t been long enough of using it. There’s only 2% of salicylic acid.

Panoxyl review

I received this product for free for my honest review. I'm not to big in aersol cans, however, I found it to be good at full coverage and easy to use. It was decent at keeping acne away. It didnt have a strong scent and was very convenient to use. It just wasn't for me.

Innovative acne treatment

I received this product, for free, in exchange for my honest review.

This is an innovative new acne treatment. It’s really cool because you can easily apply in hard to reach places like your back, neck and shoulders.

It doesn’t sting and is unscented, however it does smell like your typical acne treatment. It’s not sticky or tacky and absorbs nicely into the skin.

I’ve been using it post-workouts on my back, shoulders and upper thigh area and I’ve noticed a difference.

This is a great confidence booster now that the warmer weather is here and it’ll be tank top season. Also great for open back dresses!

It’s a great product and I’ve never used anything like this before. Definitely worth checking out.
