Not great

This Panoxyl Acne Banishing Spray is not a winner for me. I get a few pimples on my chest and back sometimes and thought this might be good to treat them with. However, I am not a fan of the aerosol can, it made for a very strong smell from the salicylic acid when sprayed and hard to target the desired area. It also left a film on my skin for what seems like hours. I thought it was going to be more absorbent. If targeting your back, I would recommend some assistance with spraying on desired area. I love that it is paraben and fragrance free. It did dry up some of my pimples but did not treat them how I wanted.

I have been using PanOxyl Acne Banishing Body Spray for a few days now, and I really like the results. The spray format is incredibly easy to apply, especially on hard-to-reach areas like the back. It dries quickly without leaving any sticky residue, which is a huge plus. The formula contains salicylic acid, which helps clear breakouts and prevent new ones from forming. It also doesn’t have a strong, overwhelming scent, which I really appreciate. The only thing to keep in mind is that it can be slightly drying, so I recommend using a good moisturizer along with it. It helped my backne!

I used it for a week on my back and I believe it did clear up active acne and made it dry out. I think with continued use, it will progressively get clearer. One thing I did not like is the smell! It was so strong and overwhelming.

The key ingredient, benzoyl peroxide, is definitely doing its job. You can feel a slight tingle when you apply it, which is pretty standard for benzoyl peroxide products. It's a sign it's working, not a burning sensation. If you’re sensitive to benzoyl peroxide, test this on a small area first.

Now, for the results. It definitely helps clear up existing breakouts. I noticed a reduction in redness and size of pimples after a few days of consistent use. It's not a miracle worker overnight, but it does make a noticeable difference with consistent application. It also seems to help prevent new breakouts, which is a big plus.

However, benzoyl peroxide can be drying. And this spray is no exception. You absolutely need to moisturize after using it. If you skip this step, you'll end up with dry, flaky skin, which is not a good look. It also bleaches fabrics, so old towels and dark colored clothes are a must.

The scent is…medicinal. It's not overpowering, but it's definitely not a floral fragrance. It smells like a benzoyl peroxide product.

Overall: The PanOxyl Acne Body Spray is a solid option for tackling body acne. The spray application is convenient, and the benzoyl peroxide is effective. Just remember to moisturize like your life depends on it, and be mindful of bleaching fabrics. If you’re dealing with backne or chest breakouts, this spray is worth trying out.

I wish I could love it more but it has strong smel

I was not very happy with the results as it made my skin itchy and the smell was so strong i couldn’t use it more than one time. I wish it was unscented more and was a mist rather than a can spray it was hard to put on and felt sticky after a few hours of wear.
