A great affordable starter sulfate-free shampoo

Now, I will not claim that this shampoo transformed my hair. It did not. But what it did do was play an affordable middle ground between my harsher sulfate (SLS) shampoos and the much gentler sulfate-free shampoos as I tried to get my hair used to washing with them. I did not try the conditioner, but the shampoo was just cleansing enough that I did not leave the shower feeling like my head was greasy. It is important to keep in mind that if you are switching to a sulfate-free routine, you need to also stick with products that are either silicone-free or at most contain water soluble silicones (PEG 8 and above). Pantene's Rose Water Shampoo is that trusty, reliable old pal you can always revisit and rely on.
