I bought this thinking it would be a great alternative to the expensive brand name one that's on the market. I didn't like it. It uses batteries like crazy and you have to change them almost every week. The brush head, didn't seem like it was getting in between my teeth.

My dentist recommended an electronic toothbrush, but I didn't have the money to spend on a super expensive one. This battery operated brush cost much less than the plug in versions and has definitely been effective. Went back in for a cleaning and the dentist said she definitely saw a difference in the overall health of my teeth and gums. I use rechargeable batteries in it so no extra expense there! The brush heads do need to be replaced periodically, but they are colored and when the color wears off you know it's time to replace.
