Peanuty goodness!

Tried this because Planters makes great nut and peanut products and have never looked back. A really superior tasting peanut butter and very happy to have found this. Much better that Kraft! Planters is rich tasting with a normal oily texture and no weird ingredients like maltodextrins. Planter's crunchy version is even better, IMO.

Now when it comes to peanut butter my grandson is quite the conisuer and he has tried them all from kraft, Skippy, Jeff and of course planters. His first choice for cookies is planters he claims they are the best and make a very excellent peanutbutter cookie

Too sweet for me

I dislike this peanut butter. Far too sweet for me. The texture is good and a similar price to the other brands, but I will not purchase again. Disappointed.

Did not like the aftertaste

I found this Peanut Butter to be too sweet and it left a very distinctive sugar aftertaste that was not pleasant and lingered. The texture was pretty good.

Good Peanut Butter

I saw that Planters Smooth Peanut Butter was on sale so I decided to give it a try. I have been eating peanut butter for 40+ years and was pleasantly surprised with this. I love Planters peanuts, so I hoped the peanut butter wold be tasty. I like smooth, and was happy that it was smooth and well blended. It isn't an overly strong peanut butter taste and has a nice flavour and no aftertaste. It also spreads well on toast, English muffins or bagels. You should give it a try!

How well does Planters Peanut Butter stack up?

Bought this product with anticipation of a good product. I was terribly disappointed with it. The product is too salty for my tastes. I also found the texture to be rather stiff compared to other premium brands.
I will not be making any more purchases of this product and will stick with the other brand I buy.
In my opinion this product does NOT stand up to other products on the market.

So creamy!

This peanut butter is one of the best out there. It is so smooth and creamy. I will continue to purchase this peanut butter. Everyone should try it!

Peanut Butter

I personally don't eat this as I am mildy allergic but my dogs of course will eat it in their kongs on occasion which of course their going to approve; however my boyfriend doesn't like the taste at all and probably wouldn't eat it again.

Definitely Delicious

Great price and delicious peanut butter. Not overly sweet with an excellent texture. Great for baking! I recommend it over ever other commercial peanut butter even though it may not have the name recognition of Kraft or Jif!

Great taste

This is the first time I have tried the Planters peanut butter. I really enjoyed it. It was very smooth and creamy, even more so than another brand I have always bought. Has a great peanut taste too! I will repurchase this again once I am finished the jar.
