I love the flavour so easy to prepare and was perfect meal for two of us. I definitely would recommend it to someone looking for a perfect snack or meal as it’s a perfect alternative

Delicious jackfruit pepperoni

I was excited to try jackfruit pepperoni, and I chose to use it to make quesadillas. The taste is amazing and the look of the pepperoni looks like the authentic one. I love that it’s soy free and it has an excellent source of fiber, and it is also gluten-free. It is easy to make quick meals with it and you can also enjoy it on its own. There are many ways for you to enjoy Jackfruit pepperoni and it is also great for snacking on its own.

Smokey

I tried this jackfruit pepperoni and was pleasantly surprised. When I heard that it was made with jackfruit, I expected it to be a sweet fruity flavour and not something that tastes like pepperoni. It seems that the spices in the jackfruit pepperoni were given a Smokey flavour to mimic pepperoni which was a nice touch. The only difference is that the pepperoni slices were easily breakable and some turned to mush and didn’t hold there shape.

My family is not a dan

My family did not care for this product at all. Neither the taste nor the texture was appealing to them. I do appreciate the availability of vegan foods

Guilt free pepperoni

I tired these vegan Plantropy jackfruit pepperoni and its smoky flavour takes my pizza to next level, trust me they are super delicious in taste. I baked flatbread, pizza sauce, cheese and topped it with Plantropy jackfruit pepperoni. They are plant-based (vegan),cholesterol free and rich in fiber and protein with zero trans fat. A part from it they are soy-fee, gluten free, sugar free and sulphite free makes them more healthy. They can be cooked, fry, BBQ or top your favourite pizza. For me it is pure comfort food.

great alternative! i love the smoky flavour and how it adds a lot of depth in the dish! would really recommend just make sure it is fully thawed before separating or else it would break.

Great pepperoni alternative

I used Plantrophy's jackfruit Pepperoni as a replacement for actual pepperoni in my pizza pinwheels recipe and they were absolutely delicious. At first, I was a bit concerned because when I tried a defrosted one out of the package, they tasted fine but didnt give me that pull-apart/stretchy texture that pepperoni has. But that all changed once you actually cook them. They're tasty, well-seasoned, and can definitely pass as pepperoni to any recipe.

Good meat alternative

I recieved this Plantropy jackfruit pepperoni free in exchange for my honest review. The texture is softer than real pepperoni and the taste is spicier. However on a pizza or other cooked item the texture is good and the spice is not as strong. While it is not an exact pepperoni taste it is a great alternative. It is soy free, gluten free. A great source of fiber and is available at Real Canadian Superstore.

Great vegan alternative!

I made pizza Pretzels with these Jackfruit pepperonis and they were a hit. I liked that they crisp up perfectly in the oven mimicking real pepperoni. They also had a Smokey flavour and a slight kick to them. The texture is a little different but I still enjoyed them. Since the pepperonis come frozen, they do need to be thawed before use. Overall these vegan pepperonis exceeded my expectation and I can’t wait to try them in other dishes!

Jackfruit pepperoni

This plant-based pepperoni totally took me by surprise. The flavour was on point - savoury and kind of spicy. Because it is made from jackfruit t is healthier alternative as it is cholesterol free, rich on fiber, has zero trans fat, soy, gluten, or sugar. I found it pretty cool that it uses beetroot to get that perfect pepperoni colour. The only downside it did not quite crisp up like regular pepperoni, maybe just wasn’t in for too long, but in any event the flavor makes up for it
