I get a lot of cold sores. The best product I have used. I have even used prescription ones with less success. A bir pricey but the results are worth it.

I tried this product las year, and I love it. It reduces the healing time of my cold sores exponentially, prevents spreading, and camouflages with my lips very well. I get cold sores a few times a year, and have tried a number of different products. None of them seem to work as well as Polysporin does. It essentially acts as a barrier for the cold sore. You just press it on your lip, and go on with your day.

The price point is a bit high, but definitely worth it. It isn't heavy on your lips like some medications and creams are, and they are very durable.

This is a great product for cold sores as it not only heals it fast, but it covers it so that it doesn't give you more pain. After using this product, I was able to eat again the very next day. Effective!

Not only does it cover the cold sore, I find it helps prevent spending of the germs. Anyone who has used any Polysporin product knows that the products are great. This is no different!!! I used the Polysporin Patch once and it was not a miracle cure. But I do believe it did help to heal it a bit faster than if it was not treated. I did not like the feel of it and it bugged me to wear it. It was not comfortable and it seems to irritate my skin but it was more when I first put it on.

This works great:) very effective works fast and within days no more unsightly cold sores:)

So I have yet to find a cold sore medicine that works magic, even though, as those of us with cold sores know, that's what we're looking for. Especially since they always seem to appear at the most inopportune moments. I picked these up, along with the lip balm, last winter when I seem to be especially prone to cold sores. I don't know that the healing time was reduced by much, maybe a day or two at most, but, the sore was definitely not as noticeable and was protected while I did have it, which was fantastic. I was most concerned about the later stages, when it's starting to scab and heal, but I just left it off when I went to bed and applied it in the morning, and I had no problems or tearing of the surrounding skin. Really good product, I will buy it again for sure.

I used Abreva before but when I saw this new Polysporin product I had to try. It is effective; it heals fast. I recommend it.
