Love Polysporin but not this product.

I haven't had a cold sore in YEARS! I fled to the pharmacy was thrilled to see a trusted name offering relief. Let me tell you though these things are fantastic IF you get a perfect application which is nearly impossible. They would be far better if you could select a size.

great product

one of my favourites. one of the easiest ways to get rid of cold sores. it doesn't hurt to put them on. they keep your closure hidden. I love this product. it's so easy to use. and it makes you feel better.

Works well, only wish it offered different sizes

Works really well! helps with healing time. lessens the pain. if you catch it early, it does speed up recovery time. helps to not allow it to spread. only complaints are that it doesn’t come in different size patches and it is visible

Maybe not using it properly!?

They did not adhere properly and was blatantly visible.
Furthermore I did not find them to help with healing time at all
Not sure if I used them properly but they were too large and slid right off

Maybe I’m not using them correctly

I have purchased these twice for use on orofacial cold sores. I applied the patches as directed. Unfortunately, they did not work well. They came off extremely easily (minimal sweat/oil despite swabbing the area and ensuring it was dry first) and I went through the package of 20 in a few days. I think I will stick with prescription topical aycyclovir as I find it to be much more effective.

Not worth it

When this product came out i was so excited to try it . I was almost positive it would be effective since I already trust the Polysporin brand. Boy was I sadly disappointed big time, it was difficult to apply and immediately started falling off. I tried many times but had the same results, the moment It got a bit wet it just peeled off.

Didn’t work as well as they advertised

Easy to work with. And they say as soon was it starts coming off to replace it with a new one. Well it’s always peeling off after you do anything eat, smile ,laugh. I went though most of the package on the first day. And the product it self is pricey. It didn’t work well with me. So I won’t be purchasing it again I would rather use the cream and reapply the cream as needed

Not a big fan

I'm unfortunate to get a cold sore usually around fall. Same place and around the same time yearly on my upper lip. Very embarising, people know what it is. I liken the use of trying to conceal the cold sore whole it heals but the product does not stay in place, falls off shortly after applying. I have found another product where i apply it as soon as i feel the tingle and I'm lucky enough not to have it even blister.. gone within 4-5days

Fast healing

What can I say instead of go out and try it! for medium size cold sores the patches they worked great and quick within a day and a half it was gone. Love it

Don’t waste your money

When you have a cold sore this is not what it needs. It needs air to heal along with medicated cream, polysporin cream works wonders but this piece of plastic made me even more self conscious and just didn’t stay in place and didn’t heal as fast as the cream alone
