Got a boo boo? Get the poly

I love this polysporin product! My little ones always manage to bump themselves running around and I always make sure I have these in hand. It doesn’t burn or sting the wound it numbs it out. I usually add the ointment on a fresh wound and switch over to this cream one after it’s dried. The cream helps keep it moisturized to prevent scarring and helps avoid getting infections which is great. I also use it on myself as well or my husband whenever we get hurt too. Definitely recommend every household should have these just in case.

Great to heal with

I have always looked to polysporin to help aid with healing wounds big and small .. It makes all cuts heal just a few days quicker than without it .. with 8 kids I know all about would care and I carry a tube of polysporin in my purse , diaper bag and in my the console of my vehicle cause accidents always happen around here ...

This is one of those products you use where you're not exactly sure that it works but you use it anyway and don't find anything wrong with it. I often get blisters on my feet from high heels and burns on my arms from kitchen racks so I "put on the poly" in the hopes that it'll help with the healing. While it doesn't eliminate scarring completely, I find that compared to my mother's burns mine heal a lot better and they're barely noticeable.

I do notice a sting when I apply it on open wounds so I hope "if it stings, it works" applies here. Apparently bandages are supposed to have antiseptic in them, though the amount is negligible, so it does help to apply this under a bandage to make up for that. The scent is also bearable so you're not left with any strong smells lingering and if it does sting it's not comparable to using alcohol or peroxide to clean out the wound (though using soap and water is still recommending before applying the ointment). I also find that it helps with provide a bit of relief from bug bites so that's also a plus.

If all this product does is minimize scarring (and hopefully encourage faster healing), that's all I need and am happy to keep using this product whenever I get an injury larger than a scratch.

Works great! Nice on those small little cuts/burns... The added pain relief medicine is noticeable. I will also purchase this product when buying any Polysporin brands.

This is great for rashes and burns and helps to heal without scarring. I've used it on a sun burn as well.
