For Peanut lovers

This bar was too crunchy and hard to chew for me. The taste was good but slightly too sweet for my liking. I will stick to my usual Kind Bars. I will probably not be recommending this bar to others.

Great crunch

I tried PowerBar Plant Protein Nourishing Snack Bar Peanut Butter & Dark Chocolate. I love the crunchiness of this peanut-forward snack bar. However, I don’t think there is enough peanut butter in this product to say it is peanut butter flavoured. I absolutely love peanut butter, so this bar is disappointing in this regard. I appreciate that this bar is high in protein (11 g), has no artificial sweeteners, and is naturally flavoured. I would recommend this snack bar for vegans as it contains pea and rice proteins and/or those looking for a bar with a high amount of protein.

Solid effort

I really wanted to like these, but after reading the label, I went in with a very jaded opinion. Yes, it is all plant based, but it is not good for you. The taste was okay, but the ingredients are not something that I would normally eat. And the fact that one bar is 8 points on the weight watchers program just makes it not worth it.

This is the first time I didn't like the sample.

Power Bar Plant Protein Peanut Butter and Dark Chocolate was a disappointment. Way too sweet, but there was a nice peanutty taste. The bars were way too sweet and I couldn't finish more than half. They were quite filling so half a bar did the trick. I am concerned about the bioavailability of such a sweet, processed bar. Not going on my shopping list. #IGOTITFREE #TRYNATURALS

Best Flavour

I received this free from Chick Advisor to try out. The box came with 6 bars 2 of each flavours. First time I tried it, it was hard to chew. This might be a problem for some people. I could only eat half a bar at a time before my hour long walks. This flavour over powers the pea protein taste if anyone has trouble with that. This is best flavour in my opinion. The sweetness was a problem for me with all the bars. The nutritional value is okay. There are other products that has a higher amount of protein. I think it is a good bar but not the best "protein" bar out there.

Better then I thought

was the least one we liked out of the 3 flavors we got to try. It was still good though and I would still recommend. However this one would be the last one I recommend out of the 3.

Meh... bland considering the combination

I #gotitfree to try as part of the Chickadvisor product review club.
I love bars and eat the Kind ones quite regularly as those are my favorites.
This has a lot of potential but was quite disappointing. Nutrition is similar to the other protein bars I eat, but taste is lacking. For chocolate and peanut butter, this was totally bland. It didn’t have an interesting texture to eat and i would have liked some actual peanuts in it to increase the flavour.

My kid liked it though so the next one is his!

Would not buy this flavour. Not a fan.

Peanut Butter and Chocolate delight.

11 grams of protein, 7 grams of fibre, 10 grams of sugar and 150 mg of sodium. This bar has the most protein and the least amount of sodium of the three flavours. Still too sweet and a little too salty - they could cut back on both and it would be perfect. The taste is a good balance of peanut butter to chocolate. Chewy texture and filling.

#gotitfree #PowerBarPlantProtein Iam usually a peanut butter fan, but for this, not a huge fan. Not surprizing, usually not into power bars, so I am not surprized I wasn't a big fan of this flavour. Might be good for other people, but for me, I was disappointed.
