Good taste

I was given POWERBAR PLANT PROTEIN DARK CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER free in exchange for an honest review.

I liked this bar. I have trouble eating breakfast early but have to be out the door and on the way. This is a great, quick, portable way to start my mornings out right and keeps the hanger at bay. I will purchase again.

pretty yummy

This was my least favorite of the three I tried through Chickadvisor but I'm not a huge fan of peanut butter in granola bars. It always tastes a bit chalky to me. The PowerBar Plant Protein Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter was pretty yummy despite my aversion to peanut butter. I would not buy this flavor again, but will definitely buy the others.

Not a bad nut

This flavour i liked but i still choose the cashew one over this one any day. I still like peanut butter and how much nuts the bar contains. Its definitely a healthy snack you can have with a kick of chocolate. Dark chocolate that is...

First bite is delish!

When opening the package, you’ll be greeted by the sweet smell of peanut butter, the real kind, not the ‘totally-smells-like-fake-peanut-butter’ kind (which I immediately appreciated and was surprised by given my low expectations for such a mainstream bar). First bite is delicious!

I will definately buy these!!

I got these as a complimentary from Chick Advisor to test out. Super peanut buttery taste so you must love peanut butter! Very very crunchy but just the right amount of crunch.

Good source of protein on the go

I have received this free granola bar in exchange for my review. I am granola bar person and aiming to eat healthier. Each bar contains 10g plant-based (pea and rice) protein, 8g of fiber and10% of daily value of Iron. The protein bars are available in 3 tasty flavors - Cashew, Salted Caramel and Dark Chocolate, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate Almond & Sea Salt. I liked Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor. Combination of these two is yummy treat that does not make you feel guilty after eating, rather full of energy. The only think I would like to see are different - nut free options so more people can enjoy this healthy energy packed bar.

Not a fan of peanut butter

I prefer the other two over peany butter. It's one of those you either you love it or not! Will eat them but will buy other over this one. Still a great product!

Tasty and filling!

These are great little bars to keep handy for when you need a little pick-me up! There is a distinct peanut flavour, and the dark chocolate pairs nicely with it.

ok, but probably wouldnt get again

i got a chance to try this for free and was hopeful for them, it's always beneficial to get some extra ~plant~ protein in my diet! however, i didn't really like it too much. it wasn't bad, but i found it had an odd sorta taste to it, almost bitter? it wasn't a lingering taste, and actually the after taste was quite good! There was also something in them that was kinda hard, which made the texture a little unappealing to me. They were not bad, but just something i probably wouldnt get again. Of the three flavours i tried the peanut is probably my favourite though!

Healthy snack for any outing.

Once again, thanks Chick Advisor for the opportunity to try POWERBAR PLANT PROTEIN DARK CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER for free. While I think this is an excellent healthy snack, I was a little disappointed with the flavour. I was expecting to really get a good top note of peanut butter but the flavour never really came through at all, even as an aftertaste. Nutritionally however, I would toss one into my hunting pack any day. Since I haven't found a retailer for these specific bars though, my value rating is off kilter.
