Tastes good but fake sugars make it a no buy for me

30g of protein is a lot so I was excited to give this shake a try. It tastes pretty darn good but is really sweet, which made me suspicious since it only has 1g of sugar. I assumed it would be stevia or a natural sweetener but it is not. It is two of the worst chemical fake sugars. I avoid these two sweeteners like the plague so I was really disappointed. The bottom line is that it tastes good and has a ton of protein so if the inclusion of artificial sweeteners don't bother you then this is a great choice. For me I would not purchase this product due solely to the artificial sweeteners included.

Decent shake

I got this protein shake to try for free from ChickAdvisor. Maybe I expected too much but the taste was a bit off to me. At first it seems fine but then it starts tasting like a watered down milkshake and there's this slight aftertaste right after that I didn't really like. It's enjoyable if you decide to incorporate it in a smoothie or maybe even a coffee drink but on it's own I was a bit disappointed.

Great source of protein

If you are trying to increase your intake of protein, try Premier Protein. It is low in sugar, low in fat, and a great source of protein (30 g). I recommend to chill it ahead of time. However, I wasn't really impressed with the vanilla flavour. It tasted artificial.

Needed More Flavor

It didn't taste bad. But I found it was kind of weak tasting.....like it needed more flavor to it. Didn't taste chalky - which I was expecting it to. Easy to throw in your purse or car to drink on the go. Price is a tad steep to have everyday.

Pretty good

I was able to try Premier Protein in Vanilla flavour. I didn't mind the vanilla straight up, but found the smell of it turned me off, my spouse said it was a bit chalky. I would love to try it mixed into a smoothie if I were to buy it. #gotitfree

Better choices of Protein supplements out there than this!

Better than the Chocolate but still not impressed.

At first taste I thought "Mmm this is YUMMY!" but then after the first 3 inital sips I found it nauseating. It is soooo sweet!!! To the point that it prompted me to have another look at the nutritional label and ingredients list on the back. I was going nuts trying to figure out if they use Aspartame in it because it gave me that sick feeling that Aspartame and other sweetners give me. (Research Aspartame, trust me)

The ingredients list was so tiny I could hardly read it but I was sure there was some sort of sugar substitute or form of sugar under a sneaky different name in this.

I still forced myself to drink it a bit more so I can properly review it and give it a fair chance but I got about half way and just stopped.

It did not leave me feeling good at all, I felt so sick afterwards.

I did feel very full after drinking half so I guess it is good for people who want to use it as a meal replacement.

I rather just buy my usual high-quality powdered protein and mix my own protein shake. Sure it may not be as conveinent as grabbing a box and heading out but it makes me feel good and doesn't taste as artificial.

I would not buy this and I would not recommend it.
It goes beyond taste and sweetness, I just don't feel this is a healthy option and think there are better and healthier choices if you need a protein supplement.

Best mixed with something else

I received this product free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest opinion.

I really liked the chocolate version of this product so had high hopes for the vanilla. Unfortunately I really did not like the smell or taste of this on its own. I could not finish the bottle.

I decided to try the product again in a smoothie. Im happy to report that mixed with fruit and ice it was quite tasty and kept me full until lunch. I’m not sure if I would buy this product because I would prefer to use a powder in smoothies.

Ingrédients non recommandables

J'aurais aimé pouvoir recommander ce produit car le goût et la texture est plutôt positive, (j'ai quand même goûté) tout comme les apports nutritifs mais lorsque j'ai lu la liste d'ingrédients, je me suis aperçue qu'elle contenait un ingrédient plutôt non recommandable surtout pour le système digestif, la carraghénane (écrit carraghénine sur leur liste d'ingrédients)
La carraghénane est un épaississant/gélifiant bon marché qu'on ajoute souvent dans les produits lactés et substituts pour en améliorer l'aspect, la texture et le volume.
Sincèrement en 2017, je trouve ça deplorable d'utiliser encore des ingrédients qui sont reconnus douteux pour la santé et qui est pointée du doigt alors qu'il y a sûrement d'autres alternatives tout aussi efficaces.
Alors oui, le goût est la, c'est un bon apport en protéines etc...mais je préfère trouver et payer pour un produit sans ingrédients qui pourraient m'apporter plus de mal que de bien.

Not so great on taste :(

I received this and the chocolate version free for review purposes. I loved the chocolate one, however, this one was not so great. I hated the taste and it was a bit thick for my liking. It did fill me up when i needed something at work on a long day, yet I would definitely buy the chocolate one over this in the future.

On the go drink

I tried the Premier Protein shake for lunch on one of my busy days. The vanilla taste wasn’t bad, but the artificial sweetener aftertaste was not enjoyable. I wouldn’t purchase this again.
