Óchi Gia ména (not for me!)

I #gotitfree from #productreviewclub in exchange for my honest review. This product is not for me at all. I was looking forward to trying this as I like taking these type of packets to work for my lunches from time to time. As soon as I opened the pack I kinda knew it wasn’t going to be good. The smell is very strong. As directed, I threw it in my microwave for 90seconds and let it stand for 3 minutes. I normally like quinoa, brown rice and farro but this was mushy and had no ‘bite’ to it all. Secondly, the taste was very overwhelming for me. I got the Santorini lemon dill flavour and normally I like dill… this was not it. It’s very tangy and garlicky. The title of my review says ‘not for me’ in Greek… sadly I won’t be buying this product, even with the included $1 coupon. Sorry Chicks!

Fell flat

This is only ok, I don’t think I would buy it again. It’s great for a quick lunch but really lacks flavour, especially the lemon, the dill really overpowered the dish. A spritz of extra lemon helps but it’s likely a one and done for us.

Gross!

I eat these kind of grains regularly and thought it would be handy to have a quicker version. Boy was I wrong. This was awful. I couldn't believe it. All of it except one mouthful went in the garbage.
