I recently started using eyeliner and found the waterproof kohl or kajal pencils work best for me. But I became very frustrated every time I tried to sharpen them with my pencil sharpeners - they just kept breaking. Finally looked on the Internet for tips and sharpener reviews/ videos. Didn't see this brand but happened to stop in Shoppers Drug Mart (Canada) to try to find the more expensive ones recommended in my research. I love finding cheaper generic products that work just as well, so thought to try this one... it looked exactly the same anyway. So I just tried it out a few minutes ago - hooray, my eyeliners are actually sharpened, not broken! You just have be gentler when turning, not like ramming a regular writing pencil into a sharpener and grinding away. It also has a little pick to help clean out stuck products/shavings in the holes, and removable clear top and bottom covers. Met my needs at only C$3.50 plus GST. Happy enough!

This is such a handy little sharpener to have around and it is also inexpensive which makes it even better! They retail for only $3.50 at SDM which is amazing as I have seen some profesional sharpeners go for $15+ .
I like this sharpener because it comes with the two sizes and so it is convenient for any size eye or lip liner you own. The blade also isn't drastically sharp, it is designed for softer liners like kohls etc. So, your liner is less likely to break while you sharpener or immediately after sharpening. This is actually why you cannot use sharpeners designed for actual pencil leads.
I also want to note that the top plastic bit of the sharpener also comes completely off. I have seen some sharpeners with only small openings to remove your shavings and that is all - this is fantastic because it opens and gives you enough room to thoroughly cleanse and sanitiize the inside of the sharpener .. it is often missed or overlooked that we need to clean our sharpeners.

I bought this Quo Double Sharpener because it was inexpensive and I needed a sharpener for lipstick pencils and eye liner pencils. It had the perfect size for each and managed to sharpen all my pencils well. I do wish it wouldn't remove some of the lipstick product during the sharpening process but knowing how sharpening works I think it is too much to wish for :D

Good afternoon my fellow ChickAdvisors. I bought this little gem at Walmart for 3$. It fits large and small eyelineres or shadow pencils.It sharpens perfectly. It also has a little pick tool that slides out so you can clean out the little pieces that may get stuck(love that feature) If you are in need of a sharpener I highly recommend this one!!!

This sharpener works awesome.
I mostly use it for lip liners now because the majority of my eyeliners are mechanical pencils.
This sharpener doesn't eat up the pencils and waste a bunch of product.
It was only $3.50 at shoppers. Works well for that price!

An inexpensive double sharpener that does an excellent job of sharpening both small and large lip and eye pencils. Removable top chamber let's you empty with ease. Cleans up easily so that you can use again. Gentle on pencils and does not chew them up. I've had mine for years and it's still going strong.
