Not the best but it work
Overall, my experience with these nasal drops was positive. The product itself was easy to administer, and the dropper allowed for controlled use, which is important when using it with young children. I used it with my one-year-old baby, and while the application process was straightforward, the experience can understandably be challenging at that age.
My main concern—and the most important one for me—is that I generally prefer removing mucus and blockages from the nose rather than adding anything into it. That said, despite this initial hesitation, the drops proved to be effective. After using them, they helped loosen and clear everything that was obstructing my child’s nose, which made a noticeable difference in his breathing.
As expected, my baby cried during the application. This seemed to be more due to the unfamiliar sensation and the momentary fright rather than pain or irritation. Once the drops took effect and his nasal passages were clearer, he appeared more comfortable.
In summary, although the application can be distressing for a baby in the moment, the nasal drops did make a positive difference in relieving congestion and improving symptoms. With gentle handling and reassurance, I believe this product can be a helpful tool for managing nasal congestion in young children.
Versatile saline solution for babes!
We’ve always known that our house was dry in the winter but we didn’t realize how rough it would be on our baby’s sinuses. We do use a humidifier overnight to help, but there are some days when that’s not enough so I was excited when we recently received the daily sinus drops from @salinexcanada to try in exchange for our honest review through @thisisbutterly.
We ended up spending lots of time with so many different family members over the holidays that it’s no surprise that our little ended up a bit stuffed up and under the weather. Enter #salinexcanada to help keep those nasal passages moist which helps keep them clear! While the dropper is helpful, our squirmy babe isn’t 😂 and it definitely takes us a couple tries to get them in their tiny nose right now but overall something that we’re happy to have on hand for our little!
Bye bye dry nose
This is my go to spray for my little one who struggles with a dry nose. Its a life saver for those tough nights when the baby is having a hard time sleeping. The nasal drops are super easy to use.
Difficult to open
I was excited to try this product as other formats were small in size and was quite a waste in terms of packaging. However, this one was really hard to open and the stopper would not fully detach - when I tried to use scissors to assist, the whole thing flew in the air and saline water went everywhere. Please improve the packaging !
Dropper not effective
The solution is probably fine but the dropped isn't easy to use and its not effective if yoj have a little one that has a very blocked nose. I prefer the spray version.
Good, Not Great
The instructions are pretty straight forward but not a lot comes out. When you have a squirmy toddler it can be challenging to administer enough. Works well however.
Hard to use
When I received this product for free, I was happy to try it on my baby congested nose. Except my baby was not enchanted to try it, it was very hard to put 4 drops in his nose. How do I know the 4 drops is delivered when I need to contort my child and the pipette is in his nose? I put too much and he had a nose bleed. I tried it on myself and understand why he don’t like it. For the effectiveness I don’t know, for my baby it was not a good experience, then I didn’t try it much. Maybe I don’t use it the right way, but for me, I won’t use it anymore.
Good product bad packaging
I did not find it easy to use these nasal drops. I found it very hard to open the bottle. The neck was very hard to separate. It didn't make a positive difference since my child wasn't experiencing any symptoms
Could use a spray style nozzle
The saline itself is effective and soothing. However, the dropper applicator is a bit hard to use and definitely unpleasant for babies. A spray-style nozzle would make administration much easier and more comfortable.
Great if Kids cooperate
The solution itself is great, helps with congestion. I tried it on myself while sick and it helped me breathe again.
The 3 stars is because it's not easy to apply with small children. Unless they cooperate and is ok with you holding their head a certain way, then it will be good to use. But if you have your typical children who is all jittery, it won't work since you need to apply more than 2 drops multiple times a day.
