A Perfect Winter Pick me up coffee

Super smooth flavour

I admit I had never heard of coffee coming to Canada on wooden sailing ships and being ocean air infused. What a neat concept. I got to try the salted caramel flavour and as soon as I opened the package the smell was so good. I do think the actual package needs a little better seal but that was the only flaw! I made this in 2 different coffee makers. First a stovetop espresso machine that my husband uses and then a regular drip coffee maker. Both turned out excellent and delicious but I think the caramel should be a little stronger. It has a subtle flavour but is super smooth without any bitterness. I really love that it's from a small roast house in New Brunswick and they have an unique process. I really enjoyed the salted caramel coffee and they might be right...ocean air makes better coffee.

Not salty over the delightful Salted Caramel

I am grateful to have received Saltwinds Coffee Company Ocean Air Inflused coffee in Salted Caramel for free in exchange for my honest review. ☕️ While this is coffee, let me give you the tea: I don’t often have coffee, saving it for special occasions and weekend brunches, but when I do it’s gotta be good! I have spent the last few weekends, even squeezing in the odd weekday enjoying this coffee.
I love the powerful full flavour of the coffee with the subtle hints of caramel, it doesn’t taste artificial. The cool process of the ocean air infusing with the coffee resulting in a rich, full body coffee is so unique.
To make it even more festive I added a splash off eggnog!

I absolutely loved the coffee, especially the caramel and salty notes—such a perfect combination for my taste! The balance is just spot on. Also, the packaging is great. My new favourite coffee

I’ve tried a lot of caramel flavored coffees but Saltwinds Coffee Salt Caramel is on another level! The combination of smooth caramel with a hint of salt gives it a unique twist that’s both comforting and indulgent. It’s the perfect balance not too sweet but just enough to satisfy my craving for something a little richer. I love how the salty flavor complements the coffee without overpowering it. It’s become my go-to morning brew. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for something different but still familiar!

Smooth, rich taste

Super happy to trial a coffee product, especially as a tired mama with a toddler and newborn. Did you know that when coffee first arrived to Canada, it came on wooden sailing ships which exposed the beans to the salty ocean air giving the beans a unique taste and aroma? We tried the salted caramel flavour, which was delicious. It had a smooth, rich taste that wasn't too acidic or bold and the taste was a nice balance between sweet and salty.

We tried it hot, but definitely want to give it a try as a cold coffee with frothed milk and some caramel drizzle as I think that would highly elevate my morning brew. As you can see, a good cup of coffee can take you from disheveled morning mom beast to something more human. 10/10 would recommend.

I wish the salted caramel taste is stronger

A unique, richer tasting coffee that is recreated by the founders of Saltwinds Coffee of New Brunswick 🇨🇦 by infusing ‘ocean air’ into the coffee beans. Apparently, long time ago coffee beans arrived in Canada aboard the wooden sailing ships. The voyage caused the beans to be exposed with ocean air, hence the change of coffee taste. Through chemical process, Saltwinds Coffee is able to recreate the historical coffee taste for us to have.

I get to test the Salted Caramel flavour. The aroma of the coffee as it is brewing in my pour-over coffee machine is amazing, with a hint of caramel. The coffee itself is not too strong, just what I usually like mine. But I can barely taste the salted caramel. Perhaps I should add half a spoon more the next time I make it.

Smooth!

I enjoyed this coffee alot! It was smooth! Although I would've liked to taste more of a caramel flavor, I did not. The packaging was beautiful. I made this in my French press, the aroma was perfect! I love the fact that you infuse the coffee beans with the crisp essence of ocean air. I already bought another, to try a different flavor. It was a medium blend I would've liked a bit stronger but overall happy with this!

Wish the flavour was stronger

As a black coffee drinker, I love a good flavoured coffee every now and then. I could not stop sniffing the coffee bag while it was brewing. However, the flavour was not as intense as I imagined. Overall experience was good as the aroma certainly made up for the lack of flavour. I look fwd to trying other beans from the brand.
