    Best graphics

I adore my Samsung television. It had the best crystal clear graphics, impeccable brightness and worth every penny spent. It feels like I'm watching things live and it's hard to watch other televisions now as the graphics are so perfect and realistic

Great image and wow factor in one tv

We recently purchased this Smart Samsung television. I’m enamoured by the picture quality. This is the first smart tv we purchased and I love how easy it is to have all our apps on one tv to stream Netflix, Disney plus etc in one tv. The price was a little high but I know Samsung has a good reputation for tv quality.

Good performance for the price, no problems so far! Great so

This Samsung TV isn’t perfect, there’s definitely a few niggling flaws that might bother those who are particularly picky, but given the great price for such a large TV, I’m definitely happy with it. All of the issues I had were minor and didn’t massively affect my enjoyment. I can’t speak for the longevity of the TV, but so far it’s been working great for me. Most of the negative reviews I’ve seen are about the TV breaking, but mine hasn’t done that. The screen size is definitely the best feature here. The price is very reasonable for such a large size screen and if you’ve been using a smaller screen the enjoyment you’ll get from a bigger size is definitely a key factor in buying a new TV.

I was also pretty impressed with the sound here. Compared to my $2000 TV I found the sound quality was richer, louder and overall better. If you have a soundbar or sound system, that’s not as important, but if you’re going to use the TV’s own speakers, it definitely makes a difference. I love that they have an ambient setting which seems to boost SFX and voice, while keeping the music and bass a little lower. If sound is important to you and you’re on a budget it’s a good option for that.

I hated the default settings for ‘picture’ here, but that’s the case with all the TV’s I’ve owned. Newer TV’s come with a ‘screen smoothing’ setting, which gives the so-called ‘Soap Opera Effect’ in which TV is unfiltered and everything looks like it’s in the room with you. I hate it, if you do too then play around with the screen settings and you can turn it off. I also turned off the extra contrast as the TV was overly contrasted. There’s a lot of settings so you can get it to your preference. Overall the visuals are pretty good given the low price, it’s very crisp compared to more expensive TV’s I’ve used.

Onto the flaws, most of which are a minor annoyance. As others have mentioned the remote is quite laggy and has a tendency to double click on occasion. The design is a little old fashioned too. One of the TV legs was a bit wobbly while the other was sturdy, which was a bit off-putting. The mute icon flashes to remind you that it’s on, something I found really annoying.

One of the bigger problems is the menu system. I wouldn’t recommend it for an older person because it autoplays. I was given ads for some strange channel and have no idea why, as soon as I set the TV up. That would probably confuse and alarm those who are less used to technology.

I was impressed with how easy the setup is. You can choose to do it via app or remote and I chose the old-fashioned way. Just a couple of clicks and I was ready to go with the TV completely setup.

I would recommend this TV for the price. While I can’t currently speak for longevity, I was impressed with the audio and visuals and most of the negatives were minor. If you’re talking strictly about how it performs, it’s pretty good and a reasonable price for such a large screen.
