I wasn't sure about the temporary button solution, but I'm glad I was able to try it for free thanks to ChickAdvisor. Buttons always seem to pop off at the most inopportune time! In a pinch, the Scotch Essentials Easy Fix Button works well. I would prefer a more permanent solution, but it's definitely a needed product. It held together well. I may not purchase it personally, but I would recommend it to others.

I found that this product was a good temporary solution from when you lose a button. However, I think it would be easier to just sew on a button, especially where the particular button didn't match with my other buttons on the shirt.

However, if you're not good with sewing then this is a great option. The product is really simple to apply and the temporary button did stay intact for longer than I thought it would be. I thought that it was really clever that it's a pin, so it does stay in place.

My hubby used this product & it worked so well. It was easy to use & held the button. The button is still on his shirt. What an innovative product!

After receiving this product from ChickAdvisors I attempted to replace a button missing on my husbands jacket. The backing is a bit bulky but, on a sweater or jacket it work great. Easy to do for anyone who doesn't sew

As a temporary fix when you lose a button when you are out, this is a great product to have on hand in your purse. I got this free from ChickAdvisor to review so I tried it on a shirt that was already missing a button. It did not look completely normal and was a little uncomfortable against my skin. However, it held together well. It would be good if you lost a button in a pinch. I will be keeping one in my purse for emergencies!

I received this product for free through the product review club. While this is a great quick fix for when you lose a button, I wouldn't use it as a solution to avoid sewing on a new one. The pin is also quite large, so I would be a little hesitant to use it on more delicate material. Over-all though, I will carry a couple of these in my purse for emergencies.

I received this product from ChickAdvisor to test. After using this product I will be going back to using thread and needle. This product is great for emergencies but it would depend on the fabric. I did use it on a light fabric and it was closer to the bottom. If it was higher I do believe it would pull and change the drape of the shirt. I also find the backing a little annoying against the skin. Overall I'm happy with the product but I don't know if I would purchase it again.

The instructions seemed easy to follow, and the button is meant to be a temporary fix when you're out and do not have a sewing kit at your disposal. It's not meant to be a permanent fix so it won't replace the need for a needle and thread to securely affix a button to a shirt. For me, this product does the trick as a quick stop-gap measure; however, it won't replace my needle and thread in the long-run. It worked well, and I carry it in my make-up bag for emergencies that may occur.

When you are not a seamstress like me, this is an easy way to repair loose buttons or ones that have fallen off.

I am not even kidding when I say that I have had a shirt in my closet that I have not worn in over a year because I was too lazy to take it in to get the button fixed and I do not sew. this worked great and I am very happy to say that I am able to wear that shirt again!
