This palette is quite large with many colors and finishes. They are mostly a lipstick/gloss combination, best applied with a brush. This palette is 80% matte and the rest is a shimmery finish. The colors last quite awhile on the lips, but since it is not exactly portable, touch-ups are hard to accomplish. I will use these if I am only going to be out a few hours. They are not drying at all, but didn't feel any extra moisture when wearing these either. Good variety to play with for the money, specially with Halloween coming up, cant wait to use these on some of my looks.
