This is book one in a 3 book series. It follows the trend of a young adult trilogy set in a future post-apocolyptic-like world and features the quintessential love triangle. The main character is Juliette and it starts out with her in this world locked into an asylum b/c of her power. One might say a mutant power. The future world is not pretty. The love triangle that starts amongst Juliette, Adam, and Warner is complex involving what she wants, what she can't have, and what is right and wrong. The books really get you into them (haven't read the 3rd yet), and are an easy read through. The author has a distinct style I'd call Uber-Descriptive... it's a quirky beautiful way of writing. And lets just say that the long descriptive romantic scenes are amaze and feel like they keep building up and getting better. If you like Hunger Games, Divergent, X-men, Twilight type stories I'd really recommend you try this out.
