    Its ok

As face scrubs go it's ok
It smells lovley and washes effectively but the grains are so fine you could almost forget it's a scrub I like my grains to be harder and thicker then I feel like I've got a fresh face after I've scrubbed

Smells the Same as Mr. Clean Citrus Floor Cleaner - Yikes

I don’t usually purchase St.Ives products mainly because of their animal testing policies. I used to be a religious user of the Blemish Control Apricot Scrub when I was younger and more naïve with regards to animal cruelty issues. This being said, with winter drying up my skin and my financial situation urging me to go easy on spending I found myself looking in the ‘cheap drugstore skincare’ aisle thinking I would repurchase the Apricot scrub just this once (I know, this was hard for my morals)

But like a mosquito to a flame, I got intrigued by this new product St.Ives had just launched called ‘RADIANT SKIN PINK LEMON & MANDARIN ORANGE FACE SCRUB’ so I thought I would give it a try for two reasons. a) I’m a sucker for new things and b) the exfoliation factor was ‘moderate’ as opposed to ‘heavy’, like it is the case with the Apricot Scrub, so I thought this scrub would be gentler on my skin.

On this topic, St. Ives is allegedly is under lawsuit because the crushed walnut powder, used in the Apricot Scrub, allegedly creates microscopic tears in the skin, exposing it to infections and irritation - and people are not happy about the damage they think it may have caused to their skin. I personally cannot attest to that - but it’s a good thing to know.

So I was excited to try this new product thinking I had found a bargain 100% natural, parabens-free (so it says on the proverbial tin) holy grail item to get me through winter. The scrub itself is very gentle, more like a creamy cleanser with micro-beads, which is nice.

But the smell…oh my god, the smell is absolutely horrendous. Nothing to do with a nice, relaxing skincare experience and more to do with the fumes you might inhale after mopping your floors with a citrusy Mr.Clean product - it’s bearable but needless to say it was a big lesson from the Universe telling me NEVER TO PURCHASE ST. IVES PRODUCTS AGAIN.

After 3 weeks of regular use, on the positive, my skin does feel clean and fresh after using the product, this being said, I don’t really notice my skin being more radiant or even - honestly, I’ve noticed better result with potatoes, lemon and baking soda ( hard to preserve and not the most luxurious smelling either - but works miles better).

I liked this scrub a lot, I found the scent to be pleasant and not overwhelming. Although the product itself did not work as well as I hoped. My skin didn't feel as clean as it does after using my usual scrub. This product is average at best.

I started using this facial scrub after I could not find a previous scrub from St. Ives that I loved. This did not compare and I wish I could still buy the other product. My face doesn't really need brightening so I didn't notice much difference, it smells great but it didn't take away my dry patches either.

I'm an avid St. Ives product user but this one was the first to disappoint me. I love the smell it's fantastic but when you use the product, even in the shower, it is hard to get rid of the white grainy exfoliates. I will stick with other St. Ives face washes in the future.

I received a sample of this product and I wasn't impressed at all. The smell is okay, but that's not what should be important in a facial item. After using this, my face itched and had red blotches in certain areas. My dermatologist said it was something in the product I was allergic to.

loved the smell but the scrub was a bit too harsh for my skin, still left it smooth as silk through afterwards

Wouldn't want to try this. I'm inclined to believe it would be too acidic on my skin.Things like that are made to be ingested, not applied to the skin (only my opinion) Just not into this one.
